I’m not exaggerating when I say that this is the most beautiful nail art I’ve ever seen. It’s so sparkly and delicate. I love the shape. It’s elaborate without being overdone. It looks wearable too. I’m not wondering how you’re going to be living your life with those nails.

Gel gradients and designs are much easier to do because gel doesn't dry until you cure it!
Absolutely love how meticulous she was with prepping your nails before creating the extensions and then how natural the extensions looked. Overall, beautiful work and you can tell she takes great pride in her craft!!

There’s this Russian nail tech I watch, her name is Tatyana and her cuticle nail cutting is legendary too. One day I won’t be scared to do it! Lol

for American viewers who liked Sailor Moon _please_ check out the original, uncut, subbed version. the American series was heavily edited so it was more lighthearted, but Sailor Moon is actually less of a ditz and there's a lot heavier material in the original anime.

Christ. I hate the new version of it. I watched the Dubbed versions when I was a kid and they were soooooo much better than what they remade it as. But I agree, watch anything in it’s original form. It’s always better!

Only $260?! Wow. My nail salon is definitely over charging me lol. I paid almost $200 for ONLY a gel sculpted set with only a neutral colored top coat. Not even a single art or crystal lol. I feel cheated 😂😂
You’re not just paying for their artwork. You’re also paying overhead costs. How much it costs them to pay the bills (water, heat, electricity, gas) and rent the property. The more expensive the area is, the higher the cost will be to do business.
A tip for getting good nail art done at a reasonable price: never go to a nail salon. Find a local nail artist who has her own studio.
When you go to a nail salon, you're not only paying for the nail technician, you're also paying for all the salon lights, cleaners, receptionist etc. Find a nail artist that fits your aesthetic, and don't go in showing your inspiration nail art from instagram. Nail techs are artists too, and they have their own art style they're most comfortable in.
I just watch Tina do her own and practice, practice, practice. Then you’re using you’re own tools and get to enjoy the fruits of your labor. My daughter said, “You change your nails every three days.” I told her, “I do not! Maybe every week” 😏 I’m addicted and can’t stop

@@MariaD.L. I don’t get my nails done often and wanted to try something different aside from the usual acrylic. This place is located in uptown so I assume their rent probably cost a lot because they charge for everythinggggg. They don’t even do your cuticles unless you ask and it’s a $10 extra charge to do your cuticles. Extra for length, shape, c-curve tip and etc. Everything. I didn’t complain, I just paid because I don’t do it often. I also didn’t mind. I was just comparing my prices to Tina’s haha

It's 7.52 in Australia, I was cleaning walls in my house. I stopped to watch this. Love this. Expecially the dangly jewels.
Out of all of the pros you've gone to, imo she is the best. She was the most meticulous about prep, and the designs she did encompassed almost every kind of nail art technique and it was all executed beautifully 😍
This video gives me so much satisfaction. Love how she treated each nail like a piece of canvas and subsequently serving us masterpiece every time.

the nails are soooooo pretty. also the price for the nail art was surprisingly reasonable!!! i was ready for $200+ excluding the gel extensions so i was pleasantly surprised

She doesn't snip a lot of the cuticle like I see other people do. That was the only thing that bothered me with other nail technicians lol.
Yes, cuticle is protecting your (inside) finger and when you remove and put nail polish and use uv light there is a chance for you to get skin cancer because nail polish has some chemical stuff and the cuticle was removed so the chemical stuff go inside our finger (sorry bad english)

You’re really only supposed to cut the dead skin (if there is any). Otherwise it’s just about pushing the cuticle back slightly! I don’t bother going to the salon anymore because I’ve been cut more than once by careless techs. 😞

her nails cost $88USD and i pay $65 for plain gel no extension and maybe a few stripes of nail tape that takes 45 mins o.o
I was going to say that I pay like 60 something dollars here in the US where they don't do nail prep for me they just start putting the nails on lol

Iris Medina exactly. The conversion from SPD to USD was $190 (minus tip) I wish I could get them 😅
@@foofy3340 the custom set itself was S$120, which does correspond to $88 at the current rate. The other S$140 was for the gel extension, totalling S$260. So without nail extensions, the price is indeed a great bang for your buck.

Me toooo, I tried DIYing this technique on my own with tea bag paper but it wouldn’t really stick properly, I’ve been thinking maybe it’s super thin rice paper, or could be like blotting paper 🤔
Hi! On her IG she says she used Tsumekira plain sheet. She sells it on her website! Hope that helps 🙌🏽
If you guys want to make a nail design ahead of time you can paint it on a ziploc bag, let it dry overnight and it should lift off the bag so you can put it on your nail

@@Merpahderp have been a nail tech for over thirty years, don't assume they all wash their hands. Have seen some poor habits at the nicest salons.
@@debradowling800 that’s fair, I’m a newly licensed nail tech but have only gone to a nail salon a couple of times in my life 😂 I’ve seen some gross techs before so you’re right I shouldn’t assume 🤗 she just looked really clean. And I hate gloves unless I’m working with acrylic 😓
