  • We hope you enjoyed The Basics of Ortho Analyzer, the first part of the multi-part Webinar series by Matt Davis, Cory Lambertson, and Sherri Weatherby. It covered the basic workflow from scans to models, presented an overview of the interface, and showed how to import scans.
This time, the presenters will demonstrate 3Shape’s Aligner Studio, so you can learn how to work with Ortho Analyzer more in-depth. We will show how to segment teeth, which tools to use to move teeth, how to work with attachments, how to remove teeth, and we’ll cover the various labeling options. Once we are finished you will have the know-how to accomplish most basic aligner cases, and with enough practice, you’ll be able to prepare for more advanced cases down the road!

Hi, guys I am a dentist using OrthoAnalyzer for 2,5 years now and questionnaires are really importants, it allows you to perform orthodontics treatment instead of just align ;) It"s the same about Analysis reports, It's really useful because it give you what's really necessary to plan a treatment, stable for years. OrthoAnalyzer need to be used with a clinical perspective and photographs too... Don't hesitate to ask, there a few details wrong in your webinar in the way of planning treatment. Nice work but sorry not completely right because you don't have clinical dental explanations. Thanks for sharing.

How do we decide how to shape and where to place the attachments and also what are the basic parameters values used to move the teeth like rotation and translation which decides number of subsets.
    Thanks in advance

How do I manipulate with the missing tooth which is planned to have implant? I set "'missing" and "width" but nothing's different... There is still empty and having difficult undercut for aligner fabricate. Can I create a virtual tooth to occupy the space of the missing one? Thank you!

There is no way to digitally achieve this within the Ortho System. The only recommendation would be to use a pontic at the time of making trays to accommodate for the new tooth.

Can you clarify what you mean by certified courses?
All of our webinars are CE accredited. We have a hands-on session for digital temporaries at our Digital Forum in October and we also offer personal one-on-one training for a fee. We are looking to add additional courses, but at this time there is nothing on the calendar.
