everybody talks about the “great shopping” in Bellevue. That is the wrong term. There is a lot of “high end” shopping. There is a difference. Shopping at a Gucci store and spending $1,200 on a purse isn’t a plus to most people. There is a decent “range” of shopping options in Bellevue. You can find the high end shops, but you can also find discount stores like Ross and Marshalls. There are high end restaurants, but there are also some more economical ones. It isn’t the “high end” of anything that makes a place great. It is having a sufficient range of options. With that said, Bellevue is great. But I bought my home in 1998. I couldn’t afford a home here now.
