- Hey guys ! Welcome to my first guide within the world of Final Fantasy 11. I have recently made a come back to the game, and was asked by a lot of players some tricks and tips on farming certain NMs. I have decided to upload this guide as most of the information is in text form and may vary depending on the version of the game you are playing.

I was a early 2000s player, so these mobs were heavily camped back then.
It is cool to be able to claim these mobs now and days.
Still get nostalgia when I see the iconics like Lizzy, Deggi, etc....and there are still many I say "What is that" 20 years later.....
If you are a FFXI former player, do not be afraid to jump back in....even with a new toon.
The game goes on sale for $9 around this time, and it is very solo friendly and causal for most content.

It was brought up to me you can also see the monsters ID numbers using an addon on WingsXI. The ID for the top PH finishes with 17B and the bottom one by 18F, so you can see with PH spawned LL and make sure you have the right mob. :)

Wings treasure hunter is so op lol. I know we didnt really know how it worked before square released that chart. I like that limitbreak server built their system around that.
LB is a dead server
@@Dontcancelme411 A server doesn't need 100s of players to be fun. The server is still actively developed and has enough players to get everything done.
I got my boots like 2 days ago. Felt so good man! Can’t believe they go for 140k atm
they went down quite a bit, they used to sell for like 200-220k when i first made this !
i remember when i started on fairy in 2006 it was around 1.5mil

the two ph are unique,ive had two ll on the map at once.mine on the hill,and another over by the wadi otw to the dunes.someone else got that one.
now of course people will tell me im wrong...cant ive seen it with my eyes.
told me i was wrong about leech king too .alotta people told me i was wrong about that one.
Geez I didn't realize just how many people camped this thing. There's SO MANY PEOPLE THERE.
For all the people who keep telling us that we should have made these R/EX, seeing stuff like this makes me happy to know that we made the right choice. Camping NMs isn't for everyone, but for the people who do enjoy it, its like crack. =)
It is and you got me hooked !! At first I was disappointed that it dropped the rare version, as i found theres ''Prestige'' in having the Rare/ex version. Now im super happy its the rare version as camping NMs if one of my favorite hobbys. The mix of low drop rates and competition makes it very addicting ! You guys are doing an amazing job with the server. Thanks for letting me relive my favorite game of all time !
Yeah i was actually annoyed when Eden suddenly switched to rare/ex after 4 years of being live.

@@sukasaroth I think SE did the rare/ex drops mostly to defend against RMTs perma camping and reselling items. On a private server, i think the rare version makes more sense as it makes the item available to all, even of you do not like farming NMs
Best way to NM Hunt is to fish and chocobo dig till you get the money to buy the item. Much faster.
but not as fun :(

I absolutely hate LL. Back in the day on Siren server (retail) I had the worst drop record on this.
I was absolutely adamant on not paying for Leaping Boots. I went 89-1.
Now here is the kicker. That one drop came on the first drop AFTER they made the update that made it Bounding Boots.

Wing have more population thay eden?
Thats a good question. I have not played on Eden so I couldnt confirm, but wings has a fairly good population. Most of the time server has about 700 people on give or take, maybe less in the mornings.
@@zarbrawl personally I've liked Eden more than wings I've got to 50 on both so far. Never enough xi I guess for me 😂

@@zarbrawl personally it's the specific era I originally quit and when it was arguably at it's most difficult imo.
@@zarbrawl it's also come to my attention that Eden has the most working content. Whereas nasomi and others might be lacking. Plus it has about 700+ concurrent players but obviously some are alts.
