Ready to try. Can I "blot" this on any paper? And will the ink, when dry, withstand a matte or gloss medium on top. I'm thinking of a specific incorporation into a collage ut will have t gloss coat when done. Thanks and FYI, all your demos are so explanatory. Can't be as creative as you are but you give me hope.
Alice I would do a little practice test first. Bristol, mixed media, watercolor, and drawing paper work well. What you’re testing will be adsorption of ink. You want the paper to adsorb some of the ink. Xerox paper is rather slick and your ink will spread out too much. This is a fun and relaxing lesson but takes a little trial and error at first. Gel medium should be fine once the ink is dry. Hope all goes well for you and thanks for your interest. Laura
