- This was an A5 Wagyu BMS 12 Wagyu New York Strip Steak from the Kyoto Prefecture of Japan. This was super tender and had an amazing umami flavor!
The steak that I used was from Alpine butcher: alpinebutchershop.com/collect...

I’ve seen a few videos on Wagyu cooking but this is by far the most superior. Well done on a perfect job. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
so so underrated
Love the idea of using a slice of the fat instead of oil
IT WORKS! TYSM! I MADE IT WITH THIS AND IT IS GOOD.
Glad you enjoyed!
God damn that cut looks good 🤤 ive never tried, ppl are always like “oh its not even that good its like butter and not chewy at all etc” im like yo that sounds amazing ! Lol
But who i have steak with we never get that, just stick to good ribeyes from local butchers.
But im dyyying to try some a5 wagyu
I just tried it last week and I’m obsessed
Wow amazing job!!
Watching CZcamsrs cook is epic but tasting their food that they made is a dream that will make you wish for it to happen one day
That sear though!!😍
Dope video 🤞🏾
Bro you are so underrated it makes me so annoyed, you deserve so many more subscribers and views
Looksss goodddddddd!!!!
I love that (I'm assuming) steak stone. Where is it from?
Just purchased A5 from Japan Wagyu … this is best video of explanation. $122 I’m nervous to mess it up
It is better to start with frozen steak or room temp?
What’s the temp of the pan? Medium? Medium high?
Its rare not medium rare but still goods for rare lover
That's what I was thinking
your supposed to cook japanese a5 wagyu in the rarer side
@@what_could_becompletely agree it was just the commentary from the creator was wrong. I love rare but let’s call rare what it is and medium rare what it is!
Many will hate me for saying this, but leaner steaks, I prefer rare to medium rare. But steaks with lots of marbling like wagyu, I prefer medium rare to medium. It gives the fat chance to render better
Nice.👍🤤
Great job!
Thanks!
Everyone who cooks A5 Wagyu on CZcams shorts makes the exact same video using almost exact same dialogue.
DANG how much did that cost
Keep it up
Thanks! I will!
As a medium rare kinda guy, that’s a LITTLE under done, but i would still eat it
10/10
Did he just respawn the slice of wagyu he just ate at the end-
A child could make this...
That looks soooo goood
Thank you so much!
I'm about to go to the gym, maybe I shouldn't be watching this. YUMMERZ!
😂
That is the perfect loop. No arguments.
eh
🤤
The cow is still mooing
So true bro
What type of pan is that?
Stainless Steel
It still has a plus
Pulse
Oh shut up it looks fine
"plus"
Sear the sides too.
Wow..
My goodness
That’s rear not mr
You meant perfect rare
Nick😂😂😂😂
Bro said that was med rare
Why do all steak youtubers use no seasoning. He even put the seasoning APART wtf xD
Using anything other than salt and pepper on an A5 Wagyu is an unforgivable sin!
@@tee4222 yes let’s eat like it’s the 1700s with no seasoning 😂
@@7ate9100timesyou are very unintelligent. Cooking isn't for you if you don't respect the food. This is not your hobby champ. You only season a5 wagyu with salt and sometimes pepper. For leaner cuts that don't have as much flavor, you season more.
Youre covering the actual flavor of the steak itself if you add a bim h of seasoning.
From where? That didn't sound Japanese 😂
Well yeah, alpine butcher imports it from Japan. I use wild fork, but same deal. American company imports from Japan, sells to public..
You gotta put more salt on that my guy
No that's not how you do waygu not much salt
Haaj
That looks so delicious I will eat that
SO RAW LOL
You’re joking right?
Nah it not
You are definitely younger than 12 years old.
bro likes to eat his stake burnt
STAKES LOOOOL. If you don't know how to spell steaks, then you probably do not know it is fully cooked.
This guy is a Walmart brand
bro hes a kid and he cooks better than you
How much was it😭😂
Im curious too haha
Overrated af. A cheap steak made with spices in an actual recipe will always be better
Oh hell no. Overpriced? Absolutely. Overrated? Not even close. I don’t think you’ve had a legit A5 wagyu, talking like that.
ITS STILL BREATHING .
🧢
@@dubsomni7310 sarcasm.
it's called medium rare
@@missagrestee No girl, its called still alive

Let's try pronouncing wagyu correctly. It's wa (like water) gyu, not wa (like waggle) gyu. It's like calling a NY Strip a New Yak Stripe steak. Pretty cringy, right? Take it on board and be better... :)
People can say things how they want to. I say wagyu with the "wa" like water. and i also say new York strip steak. both NY strip and net york strip steak are correct.
thats not beautiful. thats horrible.
What do you mean I would eat that in a heartbeat, you have to cook Wagyu with a little less crust and so it’s not burnt. Wagyu can’t be cooked on a grill (it can with dangers) because the fat will burn to much, and the reason you don’t burn/crust the steak to much is because you have to truly taste the beauty of the cut itself, not the crust although that id nice to have I really don’t think it’s essential. This is a nice place, and he is an amazing cook!
@@Cr1sis_ hey man if you like than good for you. but i find it horrible. ok? ok cool😎✌🍻
@@wsxcde21 You don’t know what you like bc you’ve never touched a piece of Wagyu in your life. Can’t blame you for it
@@Laxbros1142 yea bro you are just a stupid fool🤦♂️
This guy butchered that steak with the cost of that any cutting is unnecessary the butchers take care of that
Disagree. There’s much better uses for the side fat than eating it attached to your steak.
no flavour bruh😹
