Siargao Island is more than just General Luna & Cloud 9! Here are 5 reasons to explore the North 🇵🇭

- If you are not making your way to the North side of the island while visiting General Luna / Cloud 9, you are missing out! The people, places and surf up here are really something to experience.
Starting in Pacifico / San Isidro, Surigao del Norte, Philippines - we make our way up the coast visiting some great surf spots and restaurants here on the North side of the island.
1. Big Wish Beach / Surf Spot
2. Kookaburra Restaurant
3. Bamboo Beach / Surf Spot
4. LOKAL Siargao Restaurant
5. Kolekbibo Community Kitchen
If you're coming to visit, General Luna / Cloud 9 is awesome and highly recommended! BUT make sure you get out and explore the rest of the island! The true magic is found in these lesser known communities.
Oh and pro-tip... the surf up here is just as good with another 7-8 spots to choose from on any given day!

5:19 You are mistaken regarding Bamboo Surf Break. You were filming in front of Wantaw. Bamboo Surf Beach (Break) is just 100 meters south of where you filmed. Its restaurant has been rebuilt along with two beach bungalows.

Since you're settling in Siargao, there's a British family that also have settled there and they have their own YT channel, Eight Miles From Home. They could probably show you around or just do what you do which is connect with the locals and they show you around too. Cheers and happy trails

Thanks Rick. Ah my hometown. A product of Boone High School. LOL YES! Before my very first trip the Philippines last October, I learned of the one in Jacksonville, so I had to try it. Very good, but much different from the food in the Jollibees here!

Hello. Been following the travel map you show when you go places in Siargao on the bike. Is it possible to see the whole island in a day? Any tourist spots to see other than the beaches?
Absolutely! 2-3 hours around the island if non-stop. Yes! A months worth of things to see and do! Will feature more in upcoming videos.
