Saw one of those Marvel movies opening weekend a bunch of years back. Some couple brought their baby. Had no idea a baby was in the theater till the previews ended and the movie just started. Baby cried for like 30 minutes non-stop then intermittently throughout the movie. Many people in the theater yelled at the couple to leave. They refused and ruined the night for everyone.

The place is a restaurant wth a bar in it, just like a Chili's or a Texas Roadhouse. If they were sitting at the bar drinking while with the baby, I think that would be inappropriate. But if they were at a table near the bar eating, then that lady is completely out of line. She also sounds like she's smashed.

Some people keep saying this is a BAR, its a restaurant WITH a bar.... would you get upset if someone had a baby at Applebees? The Karen is ridiculous, if she didnt like it, drink at home or go to an actual Bar not a restaurant!! That said, I personally would have walked outside, to the restroom, or even out to the car if my baby was crying like that, out of respect for the rest of the people in the restaurant, because i would have been uncomfortable disturbing others, but if that mom was comfortable with it, i dont think anyone has the right to yell about a crying baby, ever.

I think some of you are missing some serious context here. If you’re not being carded at the door, it isn’t a bar. Nobody is wearing a wristband, there isn’t loud music… it’s a restaurant bar, it may lean more into being a bar, but it isn’t an adults only establishment. Another dead give away that it isn’t a straight-up bar… she is the ONLY one who is drunk. There is a football game on tv. It isn’t late enough for any restaurant/bar to be unacceptable for kids.

The video looks like a bar. Maybe there's a restaurant section off camera but that looks like a bar. Also a reason kids / babies shouldn't be in a bar is because there are a lot of drunk adults around. Isn't that something you are missing?
