Hi, godzilla fanboy here, many reasons as to why godzilla lost but here's a few
1.SCP-682 is Immortal, even through anomalous means he cannot be killed
2. SCP-682 knows godzillas moveset, he knows what he is capable of
3.SCP-682 quite literally has an endless arsenal, from launching spikes to acid spit
4.it was a rematch, the reason 682 lost the first time is because he wasnt educated on godzilla, and didnt have the upper strength advantage
to sum it up the power difference here, SCP-682 has been put in a machine that literally eradicates all atoms trapped within, and survived it. Godzilla has been struck by a bomb that removes only OXYGEN atoms, and was brought to the brink of death. In conclusion, SCP-682 could lose many times, but one loss from godzilla and there's no rematch

How this would go down in actuality is:
1: Godzilla uses his immense size to crush 682 to a bloody pulp and would continue to do so for maybe a minute or two before he lost interest (682 is only about five meters long).
2: 682 Regenerates and almost instantly grows to the size or larger than Godzilla and massively augments his muscle structure to be many times stronger than the G-man.
3: Godzilla starts getting his ass kicked before resorting to his atomic breath which incinerates much of 682’s new form.
4: once again, godzilla keeps this up until he loses interest (likely when 682 is nothing more than an ashy stain like Ghidorah was) then tries to disengage
5: 682 regenerates back to the size or Godzilla or larger, possibly splitting into multiple instances of 682, and develops some type of anti-radiation skin that either absorbs the radiation or negates it before turning it into some type of weapon.
6: Godzilla dies to his own nuclear fire turned against him or some other esoteric bullsh*t that 682 throws at him, likely something akin to the oxygen destroyer or 682 simply turning off nuclear physics in order to kill both Godzilla’s radiation attacks and his biological fuel source (Godzilla survives off radiation, so turning off radiation itself would kill him too).

A very bad man in the previous iteration. He is both dangerous, a savage dictator, and a madman. Singlehandedly waged genocide on about 1/3 of 682's countrymen in the past iteration.
So I sort of thought scp 173 is powerful
Plus the hanged king once destroyed infinite realities by simple wave of his hand and is considered one of the strongest elder gods. Plus it was written somewhere that yaldabaoth was the one who rivaled the hanged king. I also read somewhere that the gate guardian is capable of killing all of the leviathans of the scarlet King. I also think that scp 2935 O' death which actually killed 682 has some sort of a connection with the brothers death who like terrified the scarlet King.

@@gji7766 well in reality there just wouldnt be a way for Godzilla to destroy him, everything makes 682 stronger as he adapts and become immune, as the battle goes longer the closer it would come to the victory for 682 since he can regen really fast, he even regenerates if just 0.00001% of his molecules are left, so he can pretty much fully recover out of nothing although it may take some time for him to recover completely.
There is a reason why everyone didnt even want to nuke 682, because if he survived that, (which he undoubtedly will) he will be completely immune to nukes after.
There was this book where when you wrote a story in it, it would happen so to try and terminate 682 they wrote a story about 682 fighting another monster where the other monster would kill 682, while inside that book, 682 rewrote the story making him win the fight and pretty easily, so even while he was inside the book he just rewrote it like that, im also pretty sure he didnt even know what scp it was that he was inside of but he quickly figured out how to handle it

@@godsservant1109 yes he can actually recover from a pool of blood, theres still enough left for him in DNA to recover, infact the reptile we see in this world is not even his true form as its basically just a doll of him while hes at an entire other place in reality, his true form that is and Godzilla does not have 682 level regeneration, you cant even kill 682 with books that are meant to come true, he can rewrite plot itself which actually happened when they wrote a book (in an SCP) at the foundation where whatever happens in the book is gonna happen, so this story would have 682 fight a monster that was designed with the sole purpose of being able to kill 682, somehow 682 changed the story so he defeated the monster.
096 had killed 100% of everything that saw his face, he couldnt kill 682 and had to give up on him, 173 also couldnt kill 682 even tho apparently 173 was created to actually kill 682 and his species (true form 173 apparently is that deadly but in SCP foundation the statue we see is just an avatar, just like the 682 we see in the foundation too, is just an avatar).
Thanos also wouldnt be able to defeat 682, it would just be a stalemate because all you can really do is contain 682's avatar.
