All the animations they drew for Sam impresses me. I've never played the game, but from what I saw, it's not enough to simply walk somewhere. His animations are bouncy and energetic, it really breathes life into the little fellow. I'd say good job to the art department in making this game.

From a literary analysis standpoint, it seems like Sam's betrayal by the trees, i.e. the outside world, led to his distrust of it. That starts his life of breaking and entering, theft, and manipulation. At the end, he unleashes his true inner darkness and accepts it completely.
And as far as Halloween videos go, that's pretty scary. After all, what's more terrifying than the endless abyss of man's corrupt soul?

I actually was one of the "weird third thing" category. I had played other Humongous Entertainment games such as Freddi Fish and Putt Putt, so I had heard of the series, but at the same time, I personally had never gotten to play Pajama Sam so I don't really have any nostalgia for it either.

Same here. I found out about it on the Blues Clues abcs game. I ended up playing a demo of both Pajama Sam 2 and Put Put Travels Through Time.

I remember a few demos that (i think) came off some of the discs. I remember a Pajama Sam one, a Spy Fox demo, a backyard baseball demo, Putt Putt and Freddi Fish demos, as well as a game that I can't remember the name of, but I played a lot. If I remember correctly, it featured two teenage-looking kids in a backyard. I can't remember what was going on, or even what you could do, I just remember it was a lot of fun as a kid.

One really cool aspect of the game is that where each of the three items ends up is randomized. Different playthroughs means there's a handful of alternate paths/sub missions you get to go on.
