  • Plant health can be tricky to define. Farmers and agronomists often use tissue testing and other analytics to give us insights into plant health. However, an easy way to measure plant health is simply to observe your plants morphology or growth patterns. Internodal length (distance between nodes or leafs) is a direct reflection of plant stress. A healthy plant will have uniform internal length signifying a plant that has enough energy to function at its genetic optimum. Internodal length is a great way to check your plants health and the health of your agroecosystem.
