I'd like to take this moment to deeply thank my mother for blessing my youthful ears with these guy's music years ago. Never truly understood the pain behind each and every song, much less lyric, until I really became accustomed to the real world as a young adult and experienced things such as drug addiction, lost loved ones, heartbreaks, etc. I now totally empathize with Justin's music on an entirely different level. Most, if not all of the songs on this album, hit so close to home its truly unfathomable. 15+ years down the road and this album(not to mention all of their work) hits harder than just about anything I've ever heard, across all genres at that. God Bless 🙏

After hearing hate me I watched an interview with Justin. It was the first time I understood anxiety was and how it related to drug addiction lifetime of fear. In the interview Justin said that he wrote this so that we would not feel alone and know that we weren't alone. Hate me today
