I stated a few weeks ago, that Bronn's lack of knowledge about being Master of Coin was a desired trait, not a detriment, in Tyrion's view.
(a) Bronn had no knowledge of the financial trickery Littlefinger employed in his tenure. (There are numerous analyses of Book Littlefinger's schemes on CZcams) Bronn prides himself on being a very straightforward fellow, who will keep the ledgers very simple and streamlined.
(b) While Littlefinger was constantly hungry for the next advantage or advancement, Bronn is currently very happy where he is, thank you very much.
(c) Tyrion knows how Bronn thinks. This will allow him to keep tabs on the new Master of Coin.

Yup, much easier to keep tabs on then Littlefinger whom nearly ran the kingdom into the ground by not being there to keep his creative Bookkeeping running... Littlefinger is Brilliant in managing coin, but at the same time trying to make his books legible would be incredibly difficult
Bron is a straight arrow, will probably keep the books nice and tidy and easy to work with, you'd be missing out on some profits but at least you don't have to worry about an Ambitious sly bastard that is constantly working towards the next rung on the ladder

Bronn was a sewer rat or cockroach. A survivor. Dragons burn King's Landing. Global nuclear war. City under siege and starving. Worldwide pandemic. Bronn survives. He was also my favorite character of the series.

I like his more in depth explanation. Where he discusses the mountain's abilities, including impressive speed for a man his size and how he would have to go about fighting him. In the end he's like: Could I do it? Possibly, if I played the fight almost perfectly. Am I willing to gamble my life on it? Hell no.

1:44 This was really accurate for medieval Europe, people always thought 'bad kings' were simply misled by bad ministers. Subtle accuracies like this make me love the show.
People were really into the whole divine right thing. They are the king because god says so, and god is infallible, therefore their king must be infallable and if he's not it's someone elses fault.
People could be executed for badmouthing the king. Not so for criticizing the ministers and court advisors.

As much as I like Bronn's interaction's with Jaime his arc in the books is so much better: after he marries he finds out the actual heir to the land is his wife's older sister who's husband, for some reason, challenges Bronn to a duel with a predictable outcome, shortly afterwards his sister in law suffers an unfortunate accident and his wife becomes the heir, destiny works in misterious ways.

Poorly executed scene? Yes,but it made sense, after all it's not like Bronn has changed, he's still a mercenary, a cutthroat, a selfish warrior. He got close to Jaime and Tyrion,that's obvious,but he never had life-changing moments nor his goals ever mutated.

It was pretty clear since they started diverging from the original story that D&D went with a noble status seeking Bronn, I see few contraction with such a take,given that season 7 and 8 certainly don't lack contradictions with the previous ones and within themselves too.

It would make sense, his arc is that of a selfish sell sword making his first true friend. For him to give up his life as the greatest act of selflessness would show the full change he made and just how much Tyrion means to him. How he’s willing to give up everything for a friend

They didn't. Bronn is a pragmatic dude who is pragmatic about the state of the world. He was offered a shitload by cersei and basically took a second route to avoid killing Tyrion.
@@dennis123138 It's more about how Bronn acted. He will always be bought out by the highest bidder, that's not a secret, but the way he lashed out at Tyrion was as if he had been wronged by him at some point.
He was way too emotionally mean-spirited for the Bronn that we have seen and has been established. Every time he has acted violently, he has shown restraint and even a cool-headed sort of pleasure, but never anger or hatred (unless in full-scale battle where he looks possessed and fighting multiple enemies),
In the vale when he acted as Tyrion's champion, he gave Lysa Arryn the chance to stop the fight when it was clear he had bested Sir Vardys. He looked at her and the room, gave a little smirk because he knew he was better and would win and after not hearing a surrender on her part, he killed him.
Look at his exchanges with Meryn Trant. He threatened him and was threatened by him, but he never looked enraged or off-balance.
With Tyrion and Jamie he practically through a Joe Pesci mobster level tantrum.
