Nice nne, Kyle. Always good to see things off the beaten path, and there's some nice scenery there. You need to get to Sequoia NP and have a look at Giant Forest and the Sherman Tree one of these days. And yes, the further north on the 101 you go, the more you are into Bigfoot country....

Looking at the road, it's clear that CalTrans recently widening this part of US 101- esp given it's light traffic levels.
But it just shows the farther north one travels in CA, most it begins to look like the Pacific Northwest than CA proper.

I lived in that part of California for three years, the most beautiful part of the state, however the town of Eureka is pretty much a dump.🤔🤔🤔🤔
