I'm not usually a fan of boy groups but Treasure hits different. The vocals and the charisma! They have the potential to be huge! They are so talented!
Me too... I'm not really into a Boy Group but this group is way different from the other groups. What makes their song lit is because they're under by YG.

That's a very valid and accurate observation. If yg debuted another "complete yg style" group, they would've bored the audience because people already know yg style. They started going mainstream with bp and now with treasure. Treasure has already raised eye brows for being large group from yg. I bet in a year or two they are going to change their style of music and shock us again.

Just realized as an old kpop fan that YG started the trend of idols producing (through Bigbang) and so a lot of next gen kpop groups copied that formula. But when everyone is doing that formula as well, now, YG is bringing back the original idol standard through TREASURE in a MODERN way about production and direction wise. This is a cultural reset in kpop. This is the roots of being an IDOL in korea. And what's more unique is that YG knows how to put an identity of each group. #imjustsaying

I loved this song so much. At the start, I Love You talks about how love can be innocent, fun, full of rush and mystery. But then it has a powerful intensity to it, represented on the MV by the waves crashing. Their aggressive way to say I love you shocked me. What's amazing about TREASURE is that most of them are still teenagers yet they can already pull off such strong concept. Im sure most of us fans/non-fans are expecting youthful and fresh concepts from them yet they surprised us with strong and powerful songs such as BOY and ILY, in which given their age are very hard to pull off. Imagine them in their 20s what a scary group they will be. They will be UNTOUCHABLE. A TREASURE INDEED IN THE KPOP SCENE & THE MUSIC INDUSTRY.
Also their choreo does complete justice to their skills. Like when a member is singing, few others surround him and the rest are filling up the stage flexing their acrobatics or other dancing skills. This is the only boygroup song I overplayed in my entire life. No kpop groups have ever made me felt the urge to spend money on patreon just to watch youtubers reaction on all of their contents. Just realized as an old kpop fan that YG started the trend of idols producing (through Bigbang) and so a lot of next gen kpop groups copied that formula. But when everyone is doing that formula as well, now, YG is bringing back the original idol standard through TREASURE in a MODERN way about production and direction wise. This is a cultural reset in kpop. This is the roots of being an IDOL in korea. And what's more unique is that YG knows how to put an identity of each group. #imjustsaying

I loved this song so much. At the start, I Love You talks about how love can be innocent, fun, full of rush and mystery. But then it has a powerful intensity to it, represented on the MV by the waves crashing. Their aggressive way to say I love you shocked me. The different sections of the song represents how a young man can experience love.

What's amazing about TREASURE is that most of them are still teenagers yet they can already pull off such strong concept. Im sure most of us fans/non-fans are expecting youthful and fresh concepts from them yet they surprised us with strong and powerful songs such as BOY and ILY, in which given their age are very hard to pull off. Imagine them in their 20s what a scary group they will be. They will be UNTOUCHABLE. A TREASURE INDEED IN THE KPOP SCENE & THE MUSIC INDUSTRY.

You can see their growth from their first single. They’re more confident and carefree now. The only way is up for these talented boys.
Also their choreo does complete justice to their skills. Like when a member is singing, few others surround him and the rest are filling up the stage flexing their acrobatics or other dancing skills. I appreciate yg choreographers that put in this effort so that all members show their potential enough through their dance.

This is the only boygroup song I overplayed in my entire life. No kpop groups have ever made me felt the urge to spend money on patreon just to watch youtubers reaction on all of their contents. I broke my own rule! Only TREASURE did that to me! TREASURE is the only group I have been watching since pre-debut and this feeling of being there from the beginning of their journey instead of reading other fans testimonies of their group's beginnings is what felt surreal - and definitely be good memories of my life. I can feel this passionate hunger and tender care towards the members like a mother who keeps rooting for her children! Even though I'm on their same age I felt protective of their future already- not romantically but as a true fan of their music. I wish I could support them by buying their albums but right now I could only enjoy their song on youtube or spotify but I know this is more than enough to show my love to the group!
