Wow this drop is an absolute. monster and it’s from the legendary free ride film NWD3 No one had hit this drop in 20 years until Dylan stark hit it 2 months ago in very sketchy ass wind obviously the person doing this hasn’t got the talent or skill level to do something like. this trust me hitting big drops Especially ones with blind landings take years. of practice to judge the speed it’s a dark art to master
@@ashleytombsyeah I saw the crash on ig and the dude's only other post is him dropping some stairs. Maybe he's more experienced and just doesn't record anything but it seems he might've been in well over his head. Dylan said a lot of other people have hit it though so I don't know if it's as unused as you might think.
DAMN, I know you don't label the cold open, but that is #1 in my book. Full commitment and fully wrecked.

I think it is based on a video going around for a Rampage entry. Where they make it a bunch of times. Somewhere in so cal that has this famous free ride drop...

Besides the sheer terror and anxiety production from #1, I laughed hardest at #14
I did the same thing only slightly faster and didn't ride again for two weeks! Such a sucky crash.

Who was that wiping out on the marzocchi truck gap? I know Stark and his friend did it recently but I thought they both landed it each time? Someone else out there giving it a go? Hope they aren't too injured at any rate, looked really nasty.

Well, I can share that I certainly found a way to crash on it. Check out the full vid at Mal MtB. Lack of a lead in rider on first attempt is the secret sauce in how to crash here.

Insta360 camera mounted to his waist. The pole between his back and the camera falls in the blindspot of the lenses that are on each side of the camera. Then some software does some magic and stitches the footages together leaving the stick out

Some of the stuff we try to do on these flimsy MTB's is ridiculous. Just throw yerself off a cliff, or do a stupid wooden drop off you have never managed previously. For what?
