That's pretty good stuff, My Ford F150 started shifting funny during my trip in Colorado, I stopped at an Autozone and found the trans fluid way low on the dipstick, I filled it back up with the last quart lucas fluid, it's been shifting fine for thousands of miles ever since.

Thanks Hank. Scotty Kilmer, like you says give it a try if you're having a hard shifting problem. For under $15 if it doesn't work you are not out much. I have heard a lot of people have had success with Lucas transmission treatments. PS I worked with a guy we nicknamed Hank Healthy when he was overweight. When he lost the weight I called him "Unhealthy". He enjoyed the attention. Anytime I meet a Hank I think of that.

Yea it’s a good product for these older American transmissions I’ve heard it work wonders with dodge ford Chevy etc. I’ve used it several times with success.

I just put some in my sierra 3500 tonight. I used a siphon hand pump from Audozone to pull out a quart of old fluid. I put a quart in it a month ago but its a 4L80 so i assumed more is better. It shifts way better and i noticed after the first quart it got better the more i drove it.

I have a couple of GM cars with the 3800 and the 4t60 transmission with well over 100K miles on them. The transmissions have no issues but do you recommend using this Lucas stop Slip as a preventative maintenance on these?

Absolutely, put the Lucas transmission fix on your trucks, basically you are gonna be preventing any would be problems from happening to your transmissions in the future, make sure u siphon out about 1 quart before u put Lucas transmission bottle in each truck!

@@zmoorer I have the 4T65E HD and I filled mine after a filter and pan drop to 10 quarts or what other sources have hard pressed on. I only added half of the bottle and it runs way better than just straight ATF fluid !!

    Will work on 2014?

Do you have any knowledge or the effects what would happen if you used a bit more than a quart? I'm curious if a bit more was added it would be that much better? Because the viscosity in the used trans fluid is less and the Lucas would bring it up.

Lucas recommends to use an additional quart if needed so I would imagine a little more like half a quart instead of a full wouldn’t be a problem.
