The gloves probably didn't have the perk unlocked, meaning any grenade was viable, and as axiom bolt is the best voidwalker grenade fruit used that

You forgot that using a white weapon will give you a massive disadvantage, as they usually have overal horrible stats (stability, sights, mag size, reload, etc).
Ragican Smith actually I played on my friend level 2 Hunter and besides his jikoju scout rifle all did well. The kvostof has excellent impact (no really) and had a good fire rate. The sniper scope was easy to use and with the one shot kill and situational use none or the stats mattered. Shotgun is one shot as well

Ragican Smith in a way, that's not entirely true. some white weapons are just as powerful (stats-wise) as legendary weapons. the ONLY true disadvantage using white gear haves is not having any perks. so gunplay is not really affected here. it would be a different story if it was Iron Banner or ToO.
The khvostov doesn't have decent impact 😂, and white weapons have worse stats and less perks, and don't have exotic perks

Lol Rhabby lists all the things he's sick of but flagrantly final round spears as much as possible. He even brings the sniper to Anomaly, the shotgun map to end all shotgun maps. Had he used a shotty he'd definitely have range advantage over his buddies' green shotties.
