In this photoshop photo effects tutorial, learn how to apply dramatic HDR (High Dynamic range) Effect to single jpeg or RAW photos in photoshop easily under 1 minute.
First open photo you want to edit in photoshop. Then balance highlights and shadows using blending technique.
Then open the layer in new document and apply HDR toning. Adjust the edge glow and tone details sliders depand on your preference.
Thats it. We're done.

I forgot to mention that you can change opacity of the "HDR Layer" in the video to adjust the strength of the effect to your preference.

this looks like the OLD BAD HDR BACK IN THE DAY.. :P
But actually better, in a way, because you don't have to deal with drifting clouds. As I understand it, HDR photos "the regular way" use multiple images, so really, that's what this procedure is kind of doing artificially. In my opinion, it works well.

when I launch the HDR toning in the Adobe photoshop 2022, the image in the screen disappears ?
Turn Quick Mask mode off. (It's the 2nd icon from the bottom on the Tools panel.) Think it's a bug.

yes, you can lower the opacity of HDR effect layer to your liking. I forgot to mention that in the video.

No offense but this is kinda useless. You can't use these images in a 3d scene and if your goal was just to color balance the photo than there are waaay faster and easier ways of doing so that'll give you better and more controlled results.
