I think the Keeper is probably the best designed character. He changes a lot of things about the game with buying devil deals and whatnot. I feel like he adds just the right amount of challenge while also being fair.
Keeper is definitely the most creative normal character, which makes tainted keeper even better because he makes base keeper’s mechanics and adds more cool mechanics.
I’m surprised that Azazel didn’t at least make it to well designed. The only thing I think slightly brings him down is less synrgies.
Azazel is my favorite character but he is flawed in the fact that almost every run is a win. He does not have enough drawbacks to his kit. Although he is so fun to play, he isnt balanced
t laz is literally one of the coolest charachters, as well as jacob and esau, while t. blue baby is super gimmicky on the other hand imo
I'm going to call out that Judas starts with 3 cents, for the 30 pieces of silver he gained by selling out Jesus. That puts him on good design. He also.(used to) have a guarantee deal with the devil every time he used his book. That's proof that he can no longer return to grace. Judas is the persona of himself that Issac most fears, hence why he only has 1 heart.
That’s really good to know and a really good way of thinking about the character.
Tbh t laz has a criative design, even if he is a terrible character to play
imo if you do a few tweaks to him he'd be amazing
@@breebreebreebreebree agreed, if he was tweaked a little more he would be really cool. He feels sort of incomplete in my opinion.
Issac is kinda badly designed. His d6 makes the player less resourceful and basically trivializes any run. He’s one of the most boring characters because of that imo.
That’s a good perspective on Isaac, I just put him higher because he has higher diversity. Also OP runs are more fun and chaotic.
