That is awesome that Bwonsamdi is like the Spirit Healer in that particular part of Nazmir.
3:45:36 I have no idea who was the one suggesting Vol'jin comes back as a Loa because coming back as same old Vol'jin himself would devalue his death. I read this several times, but there several things to be taken into consideration, here, that they are missing fair and square.
a) Vol's death is already devaluated: He did not die, he was killed off, there's a huge difference there.
b) Vol'jin is the champion of the Loa of Death and one of the most (if not *the* most) powerful Shadow Hunters. He can hop over the line the divides the physical realm from the Shadowlands, back and forth, as he pleases. It is well established in WoW Lore he can come back from death and bring others back, as well, as long as Bwonsamdi agrees. I see no reason why the Loa of Death would keep his very own champion "on the other side," when he is way more useful among the living. It is one powerful soul for Bwonsamdi, sure, but it is nothing compared to the millions Vol'jin is able to provide.
c) It was Bwonsamdi the one who gave Vol'jin the vision of him leading the most powerful and destructive army Azeroth has ever seen.
d) Trolls resurrect every other day; we even take part on several of these resurrections. There are several rituals for this, and they don't even need Bwonsamdi to help them. We, on the other hand, as well as Vol'jin himself, do have Bwonsamdi to help, so it's even easier.
e) Even in the Alpha, there's still no other Darkspear cemented enough to be the Darkspear Tribe Leader.
f) At BlizzCon 2016, when the question "Now that *Vol'jin is dead* who will lead the Darkspear?" arouse, the answer was "There's more to Vol'jin's story." The question was not if Vol'jin was going to come back, the question was not if Vol'jin was really dead, the question was not about the future of Vol'jin. The question acknowledged Vol'jin was dead and not coming back, and just pondered who could be his successor. The answer was "There's more Vol'jin."
g) Darkspear never die

Sure, nothing, just repairing all the damage Garrosh had done to the Horde -_- We didn't see it because (aside from it being boring in a game focused around "war" and stuff) we were out on Draenor; if I remember correctly, during WoD you were quite fond of theory that we'd return afterwards to the world invaded by naga, which we hadn't learned about because we were on another world (even though we'd have gotten a memo through a portal, seeing how there was no trouble for Azeroth to send us reinforcements or leaders of our faction at one time, so that theory was completely wrong). Looking at that, we could savely deduce that a lot could have been happening on Azeroth that we had simply didn't see.
Also, Vol'jin did A LOT between patches 5.1 and 5.4, to me he was already Warchief then, as he preserved the Horde's honor.
That being said, I wish Blizzard had showed more of Vol'jin as Warchief, but I blame the overall lack of content in WoD for this.
honestly I expect something like the giant turtle in the neverending story with the swamp and everything going on.

Thanks much for the play through. I think the Alliance side is interesting, but the Horde side is amazing and seems way more fun. Now it is super early so things will / could change a lot.

Nobbel naga have been magic addicted since they were introduced in Warcraft 3 it was part of why they were able to recruit the Blood Elves on Illidan's side.
i really wonder where vol'jin and thrall are gonna come into this story, i was pretty damn sure, they would show up in nazmir with bwonsamdi hanging out here and all that
Chris Auer Three possibilities;
1)Their quest is just not implemented yet but is still a part of nazmir
2)Their quest is one of those unique ones where you start out in one zone and then you move from zone to zone to finish. Kinda like the legendary questlines.
3)They scrapped Voljin's questline like they did to Wrathion in WoD (pls god no!)

Chris Auer, Khalduras Thing is they publicly said at Blizzcon it was going to happen. So if they don't there's going to be an outrage. An Illidan sized outrage if you ask me. I think its actually a max level questline, sort of like the Order Hall campaign except its a... Faction campaign. So The Horde gets the story with Vol'jin and the Alliance gets something with one of their characters too.
Mr. Bern yeah that might be the case. at least i hope so. it wouldn't be the first time they scrap stuff like this after announcing it at blizzcon and they definitely have their reasons for it, but i hope this isn't one of those cases
Mr. Bern, the Alliance quest will probably be with Jaina Proudmoore, though I've not kept up with the alpha videos, if they've already re-introduced her in BfA.
The sethrak seem to have the worgen skeleton, even more hope for an allied race :D

It's funny that goblins are helping the Zandalari since they have a history of enslavement with them.
If you ask me, I think the goblins forgot about it ages ago. They don't seem like the kind to hold historical grudges. They might even think they're square with the Zandalari since they had troll slaves in Kezan for the longest time.
Snake people needs shadow magic > Alliance has void elves > snek people is alliance allied race confirmed > giving us our 4th shaman option. Yep, totally gonna happen. (I wish)
... The more I thought about that, the more I want it to happen. I mean they already seem at odds with the forsaken. And once we hit 120 and can go to Zandalar, we'll need a a foothold there. Damnit alpha, how you taunt my naive and hasty speculations

Y'know I think that's gonna be a thing. Like, add a hidden counter that counts all your kills since you accepted the quest, then at some random point Bwonsamdi pops up and tells you the deal is sealed etc and maybe gives you some cool easter egg or something.

Aren’t Blood Trolls just corrupted Zandalari trolls or are they a whole different tribe?
For what it looks like, the Blood Trolls seem to be corrupted Nazmani trolls (AKA Trolls that lived in Nazmir). Now if you count as Zandalari every troll that lives in Zandalar... Then yeah I guess you're right.
My Blood Elf Toon could wipe out all those Toons (9:49) with my Cyclone Fire Blast followed by the dreaded Fierce Firery Flaming Fart.

I'm not actually sure why people are so insane for the Blood Troll model, it's literally just a white troll with red markings. I think people can't just be happy with what we get.

I always Thought that there was 5 old gods but one got 'eaten' by ysaarj or something., going back as far as the Warcraft III manual it is stated that The Pantheon shattered the Old Gods' citadels and chained the five evil beings far beneath the surface of the world what if this is the missing 5th and the pantheon found the remains of it when they pulled ysaarj out o f the earth and experimented on it.

i f'ckin love that casting animation with these floating glowing scrolls used by Kajosh/Lashk .... why dont give classes similar anymations for some slow (non-combat) spells, mages with magic scrolls while creating portals, palas with a floating holy book while res'ing (bit like palas in wc3), or inscription profession makin spell scrolls (1charge consume on use)...... some pyroblast or blizzard scrolls for upping ur aoe dps would even please warriors :p
