World of Warcraft® and Blizzard Entertainment® - Hry
I have a feeling that the cinematic somehow ties into Zandalari becoming an allied race since Talanji speaks about "becoming part of the world again".
Oooow yeahhhh that makes a lot of sense!
Yeah, I'll buy that theory.
it's probably the ending of the Zandalari allied race questline.
Once the last LFR wing opens we'll get the quest to kill G'huun.
it does make sense, but Kul'Tiras joins Alliance at the end of a quest chain about saving Jaina, so I think this Horde quest and cinematic will more likely appear sooner, with ulocking G'huun in LFR.
Horde: we will end the corruption that has killed countless people for years to come and save Azeroth
Alliance: ooo a big temple let’s go in. It
Tyler At least Anduin doesn’t go around killing his own. Heh.
Horde: we took heavy losses, but we saved Azeroth from the old gods. Now we get a moment to rest-
Alliance: ooo another big temple! lets go in it!

Nobbel: Hey guys, I'm going to use the Puzzle Box on Vek'loz.

Nobbel: But Loooooore.
raid members: "*sigh* just let him do it. You know lore takes priority over progression with Nobbel"
I don't see the problem here. Don't YOU get kill your raid killed for the sake of new lore? I know I do.

Nobbel is starting to sound like Brann just going into to random titan complexes to find out more about the titans not really caring if the push of a button releases a deadly virus or god he just wants the lore of titans
950 billion norgobytes of music and selfies. Didnt know the Titans were so relatable lol
They have more selfies that data from the planet

Quick minor note: Keeper Hezrel (the construct you meet in Nazmir, if you're horde, and who also can be found in the Underrot dungeon) his dead body can be seen at the bottom of the elevator after fighting Taloc.

I don't know why but I keep thinking of "YEET!"
I do have to agree with you Nobbel that it would have been nice for the Alliance to get some little breadcrumb into Uldir. Because as an alliance player... why exactly am I supposed to go into this titan facility? Noone let me even KNOW that there's a titan facility on Zandalar. I know there are blood trolls, I know there are sanlayn, I know about a blood prince and that I dont like him very much, for some reason. But from an alliance perspective I feel incredibly sheltered from this plotline. And it irks me.
There's pretty much no reason for the Alliance to invade Uldir, as I 100% believe that canonically; the Alliance do not involve themselves in Uldir. The blood troll plotline is completely Horde content and the Alliance don't really do much of anything with them. They just try to make allies in Zandalar. (Enemy of my enemy is my friend style.) but horrifically discover their emissaries are killed, drained, and even betrayed by a commander who fell for G'huun's promises.
Beyond that... They are not treated to discover the old god. Which leaves me to believe the Alliance do not touch Uldir.
branns wants to push buttons, that's pretty much why the alliance is there.
I mean the start of the Nazmir section in the war campaign has us clash with G'huun's minions right from the start. The only problem is they didn't add some kind of dialogue. We know Brann likes titan stuff, we know Bran was there and we know Bran was looking into G'huun after our encounter with his minions in Nazmir.
Or that as a horde character I had no idea the sanlayn were working for us now apparently until I saw Nobbel's video covering the content.
It's true. Blizzard got extremely lazy for this "questline" into G'huun. I would've enjoyed more going into the Blighted Lands first...
Perhaps they could've released the two raids at the same time, but faction gating them for a couple of weeks? After all, they DID change the way World First Achievements work
I think this is perfect. Not only do you provide lore and story, you show gameplay to those who may not have the time to actually sit though a raid, or make raid times. IMO, keep up the great work mate!
And i thought we were the only ones who had a memeber that used the puzzlebox without telling anyone and wiping us all
happened to me twice just yesterday too LOL
So.... how much gold did you owe the raid in repair costs? XD
Wait! Uldir has Archives of Musical Playlists and Images? Wow, did not see that coming.

look a titan box it can lead me to more lore!
Raid group: Nobbel!! NOOOOOO!
(floor doors opens raid group fall into the trap)
oops...
Me: wow....
In hindsight, it kind of bothers me what they did with Zul.
They could have easily created a character to fit the same role, and I don't think Zul's trajectory into a blind servant of G'huun makes much sense with his prior characterization. Or at the very least, I don't think it makes much sense for them to just throw away a major lore character like that.
Sadly, it wouldn't be the first time.
Yeah I'v had a similar feel all this time, the proud champion of a reborn troll empire becomes an old god sellout, also why would the Mogu follow old god minions?
Blizz doesn't seem to like trolls.... Wouldn't be surprised if Rastakahn dies before BFA ends, and Vol'jin, Sen'jin, and Zu'jin to all show up as spirits, just to die again.
Now I kinda want the 'Jin troll team up....
blizzard definitely loves troll seeing how omnipresent they've been since classic, however the taurens and gnomes really don't get anything
Nothing is ever thrown away in WoW, if they want they ressurect and retcon the shit out of anything.
The official bloody lore better damn well have the Horde killing this one for extremely obvious reasons.
Mittens FastPaw I’d be shocked if it didn’t...course, I’d also be shocked if we got a chronicle that went all the way to bfa
Me too, since having the Horde having a semi-working titan facility with a working titan keeper would be wonderful
I mean brann is a dwarf so it's probably going to be neutral lore wise
@@Dhurak57 horde has Talanji in the same role as Brann on Alliance.
thx for the info, i didnt know

So soothing for sleeping, love the videos, please make more!
It could also be G'huun whispering in my ear to keep following you tho, not really sure anymore
You forgot to mention that Zek-Voz is an Aqir. Like the first one we’ve seen in game... just thought that might be interesting...
weren't the aqir the insectoid subraces like nerubains, qiraji and mantid? He is the first bug/faceless hybrid we've seen though.
Sh4delock They were the ancestors of the Nerubians, Mantid and Qiraji.
Do they make mention of that ingame? I checked it out and the data files labeled it as an Aqir, but does anything else?
Nobbel87 I don’t know. I read it on Wowpedia so I thought that it had already been confirmed.
Isn't the General outside Yogg's room the same? I've only heard the NPC's call it a "C'Thraxx", and I don't know if that is just the vague term they give to all Old Gods Generals, but I thought there were various types, basically one for each Old God, though Aqir is a new name to me... So maybe he's the same as the C'Thraxxi that served C'Thun or Yogg but the name is irrelevant? Just a General Genus and names are only a matter of knowing which served whom, and not some new species of Void Creature.

Well done! Nice tale
This is awesome thanks
Thanks for the wrap up! Wish this expansion I was still Alliance, classic Brann moments everywhere.
Yesssss, more vids
Very cool setting for a raid, I love it.
Thank you for this! As Alliance, all we get is here's a new raid, go get loot.
The "leave a like" got me on three videos in a row, Nobbel. Do like your videos.
as a alliance my story goes as this "Oh shiny oh loot oh lets raid this for no reason at all"
I hope that's actually him in the end, not a Loken situation with an old god showing a ghost of someone the person wants to see ...
This was awesome, would of been cool to see the horde version moments along side with Brann But all the same very awesome video and yeah a big boss like this affecting the entire continent of Zandalar should of received a cinematic or cutscene /quest to wrap up the story
I knew about that last cutscene. but can confirm its not available yet as far as I can tell. i raced to exalted with Zandalari to see if there was a conclusion to the Vol'jin quest line but nope.. just a mount from the vendor lol Also I feel like theres gonna be stuff between where we left off with bwonsamdi and that final cutscene. so definitely looking forward to whatever that is.
QuestText they probably cut that in half
I'm guessing it will be released with or after the new Siege of Zuldazar :)
Something about brann’s “you missed one” makes me laugh every time I hear it
G'huun's appearance along with the white/red stuff all over the walls is based on a REAL mushroom (the bleeding heart fungus). They duplicated the look almost exactly. The real mushroom is really creepy looking. You'd expect it to be deadly...but while unappetizing and nasty tasting, it's not poisonous at all.
Here is my question, why did the keepers keep Ghuun alive? With the Old Gods, they were so massive and intertwined with Azeroth, killing them would be catastrophic. But Ghuun is just a oversized slug. If mortals could beat him, surely the Titan keepers whom have part of the Titian essence themselves can destroy a creature with ease. It makes no sense... or does it. The final death rattle, where he says he has put himself in us (that's what she said) ...maybe we have a dormant infection that will shatter the bonds of N'zoth and kick off the Hour of Twilight.... dun dun dun!
snakex555 before they sealed him away.
Like Snake said, they thought G'huun would be the key to cleansing the infection.
Nobbel87 kinda hard to keep that goal in sight with Loken putting the Keepers in disarray. Maybe that be another reason
Him being weaker is the exact reason he was kept alive. It wouldn't take planetary annihilation to kill him, and his being an artificial old god gives them a more controllable subject to study than the actual old gods.
varnisa yes... but after the Cataclysm, after the second seal was destroyed :.. why didn't they just cut their losses and just kill the damn thing
07:40 the guy jumping off the platform is my hero.
On day 2 of the raid being out i got into a group at ghuun. I sadly had to leave for work before we managed to kill him, but we did wipe at 4%.....before half the group rage quit for no reason
if yall got him to 4% then all you needed was better heals or to not drop a ball x.x
If they wiped at 4% then healers were not the problems idiots doing stupid shit are.
Someone must have pointed this out already but that cut scene is triggered by doing the second part of the Vol'jin questline, which is just a quest you can pick up on the Horde side. You can trigger it even by completing the quest in LFR, so it's available to any difficulty.
Would you do a video of the tidasages and their tentacle friends? I really would like to learn more about them. It's only great when you do it tho
11:19 lol music and selfies :D
Hey buddy I like this and u do a great job.. I don’t like really anyone else
Is MOTHER not talking for anyone else? I don't know if its a mod or a bug, but whenever I have been in there she never says anything and Brann ends up just talking to himself like a crazy person ...
Happens to me too in the horde side... talanji just speaking alone, :/
Happened to me too. I thought it was an LFR thing, but it might be just a bug.
It happened to me too in LFR but not in normal. Probably she's just pissed that we got the best of her during her encounter. My gf's done that a few times
You have to go whisper to her that you are Mike Pence for her to talk.
Your mods might interfere with sounds playing.
The whole of Ulduir makes me feel like wearing a surgical mask. I feel like i'm gonna get lungrot just looking at it.
thanks for doing this, as blizzard couldnt be bothered for alliance players
8:15 there is something funny about titan constructs being called, quote "Trash"
he dropping everyone on Mythrax's boss fight killed me, god danmit
Lol, Nobs, if you're not careful people are not going to want to carry you anymore 😋
Im pretty sure he is just reading the adventure guide to us and retelling the Zandalar zone descriptions.
Nobbel, there is actually a horde questline that ends with a straight "kill GHuun" quest. It is reputation locked though for Zandalari Empire
Nevermind you got it in the end of the video
I hope Blizzard puts in more little nuggets involving the puzzle box this expansion. It's a nice touch, and it's not like Nobble will a wipe or anything exploring lore. XD
Lol, in the Halls Of Contamination: are you sure you didn't use the puzzle box during your raid? Knuckle Head :-P
I found it odd that MOTHER would just tell Brann how to destroy G'huun, but then I reran some of the dungeons/raids with him being recognized by Titan machinery and realized he's practically a skeleton key when it comes to any Titan facility. Or, in less meta terms, being recognized by other facilities and constructs may have marked him as 'authorized' personnel.
Plus he's a dwarf, so there's that.
"The contagion has taken root within you" I don't think we properly rid the world of G'Huun's pestilence just yet...
That's definitely the only way I can get my mother to calm down - by smacking her around a bit
hmmm never really thought about the Shadowhunters using glaives, just like demon hunters.... Both Vol,jin and rohkan does. Maybe a future class/spec that uses it, so demonhunters are not alone. It would defend it better as a loot drop. But then again, we also need other that use ranged weapons^^
Maybe a class that can have Dark ranger spec + Shadow hunter spec....
This is a fun video, See ya!

Magni sends you there to meet with his brother from the Heartchamber :)
95 billion norgabites of musical playlist? Could I check that out?
This is maybe a hard question to answer, but if we play with the thought that we face off with Queen Azshara and N'zoth in the end of this expansion, what is left (lore wise) for us to decent in upcoming expansions? Just wanna hear your thoughts! :)
I think the cataclysm breaking in Nazmir happened first and that that's how mythrax got out and started going after voldun and zandalar

I’m starting to think that the titans had something with the word uld- in their name 😜
It's just a reference to "old". Just to indicate that this is not made by the younger races inhabiting Azeroth.
I have heard a thory and Uld is the titan languages word for Azeroth, so all the facilities starting with Uld will let the speaker know what planet they are talking about. And that theory states that Ant is the name for Argus so since Antorus was were Arguses world soul lived, then UIdorus which was mentioned in game, is where we will find Azeroths world soul
lore driven expansion guys. lore driven.

The G in "Coagulated blood" is a Hard G. Like in Gun or Government.
"not that I would know anything about that" When are you just gonna make a character in the exact likeness of Brann Bronzebeard because this is the kind of shit I expect him to do all the time. "Woops! Ah...uh...sorry?"
Dear Nobbel, please stop rolling your r's at every possible chance. That's just not how the letter works. Great work!
The Zandalari really remind me of Wakanda from Marvel. Opening up to the world again? Zandalar forever? Those accents? Come on. :D
I think that all these things are made before Black panther was release.
Ghuun needs his own category out of old god. He wasn’t sent by the void lords, he’s not as powerful as the old gods, he’s not as old as the old gods.
13:54 i guess we still dont have answers on those questions, right? bfa is over with so many holes in the plot
Take a swip whenever hes says "corruption" or "corrupt"
now we know that it just took a weekly reset to implement the questline ^^
cool.
I have to wonder what was g'huun before being accidentally created. if the keepers experimented on other loa is it possible that g'huun was at one point a loa mainly the loa of parasites food for thought
The old gods, in and of themselves are parasites. So what they tried to do was replicate the concept of an Old God, and research how to destroy it. They used material and the general purpose of old gods to discern its use. And perhaps find a solution to kill an old god without harming the planet.
Much like a tick, the old gods feed on planets. When they ripped Y'saarj from Azeroth, it caused immense damage, and a lingering curse to Azeroth's frame. Which is why they sealed the Old Gods. Much like if you carelessly rip a tick from your body, you risk being infected by Lyme disease. One has to learn how to treat removal, or how to contain the damage. Which, at the time unfinished.
So basically Mother had a vault filled with her selfies and jamming beats?
Oh dear Uldir
I don't think G'huun gave Zul his visions. Zul had been having them since he was a child, and the power is called the Sight in a Zuldazar quest which is the same name for Velen's power. He's also not the only troll that has them, like there was his student. And lastly, the Old Gods warning him about the Cataclysm which was their plan wouldn't make any sense.
I'm not saying they would have given him his visions, how ever it does make a bit of sense to get him a vision of the cataclysm. He would go around warning the trolls about the Cataclysm, no one listens to him, it hits and throws the empire into chaos and then Zul can show up and take a position of power, claiming he knew this would happen all along. Though in the opening stuff for Zandalar it seems some of the trolls mock him because the cataclysm didn't do as much damage as he seemed to claim it would.
i just wanna know why these constructs are so different from the ones in ulduar, the ones in ulduar don't seem robotic at all these guys feel like polar opposites.
Nobbel the raid breaker. :D
Openijng that trap door should be an achievement like, Did I do That? 20ap Kill your entire raid with the console in Uldir XD, also it doesn't count towards the meta achievement.
I mean I could understand it with Alliance since G'hun is just a footnote in their storyline, but for the Horde it's central to the entire story of Zandalar!
Everything that's happend during the Horde questing has lead up to this point and at the climax... nothing!??!?!
I mean, it's not like I would know anything about clicking a titan console and the ground opening up either... not at all...
uldyr the guy who have 3 stance in league of legends right?.... i love that champion
7:50 Brann seems a little too okay about using the device that was specifically designed to wipe Azeroth clean of life.
No, that's not the same kind of Re-origination. The Reorigination in Ulduar was meant to be an outside device that would've wiped all life on Azeroth. The Reorigination drive in Uldir is a minor device that helps purge away the inside denizens.
7:39
did i see it right or one of the players went canon ball and jumped? :D
I was expecting for G'huuun to be bigger.
lol i just finished watching the last 2 videos suddenly dis shows up....owell who cares that im getting up at 6am for work...right?
Maybe for the Zandalari recruitment szenario?
which addon are you using for the bosses abilities?
Despite the great work from Nobbel (as always), I still don't get it - why we have to go in there; why the Titan always leave tons of mess; why the keepers are always corrupted and can't do their job; how many more this titan/old gods/keepers mess we need to cover without knowing the cause... Really frustrated
That's a buttttt load of selfies
And the moral of the story is....if ya build something do some maintenance on if from time to time, like once every 500 years or so....
Is that Frank Welker voicing G’huun?
Hope Vol’dun comes next
!!! Talanji for Warchief !!!
That final cut scene is probably from the Zandalari allied race scenario that's my guess anyways
