- It's been a while since our last video, but I have a pretty good excuse! And she's pretty cute, too. Meet Quinn!
So the question is, are Rhodesian Ridgebacks good with babies? Well, they were great with baby number one, and I'm happy to report they've come a long way with baby number two. Zero is enthralled, Penny is confidently comfortable, and Lincoln the two-legged Ridgeback is completely enamored.

I feel sorry for children who grow up without animals in their home. They miss so much!

Maybe outside of the home. Dogs and animals stay outside. It's disgusting how people can have a dog licking their new born child's face. Put the damn dog out where it belongs.

I've been following you for a few years now. It started with a guy and his dog, and now a happy family. Congratulations.
How lovely to see a family including their fur children in the joy of a new baby! The first thing I did when I came home with my two babies was let our dog see and sniff the heck out of them because hey this little dot belongs to him too. People can be so pathetic about animals and babies! They go hand in hand and it's wonderful to see so much love in this entire family...human AND fur balls. Beautiful :-)

Oh my gosh.. lump in my throat & tears in my eyes watching this.. I grew up with the most amazing beautiful Rhodesian Ridgeback called Zimba.. watching this made me miss her so much! 😔 They are wonderful dogs to have around children.

Our Ridgeback is 78 dog years tomorrow.Her black muzzle has gone from black to grey to white and her dark wheaten coat is much lighter.Our son is now 21 but they are still so close and funny together.Although she is still physically fit with at least two long walks a day only hot weather cuts exercise short and she is still as cute as ever with a personality that shines like no other breed.I fear Father Time and thinking ahead have considered other breeds but nothing comes close to a ridgeback and your videos confirm that.Who knows what the future brings but another rescued ridgeback is favourite.Enjoy your family every day.Especially the dogs!

I got my first RR when I had two toddlers and pregnant with my third. She was exactly like this. Many moons later, they are grown and we are on RRs 4 and 5.

Ok so I watched a lot of these types of videos (dogs meets baby) but I honestly never saw a dog look this on love before. That one moment when the dog but his head on the baby and watched her, I could clearly see love in it's eyes! Amazing!
