Bwahaha. 35 minutes for the Krakatu? LOL more like 200 minutes. Went today for my anniversary. The actual park is beautiful and the rides are really good but the "Tapu Tapu" system is an absolute disaster of epic proportions. Most rides were 90 minutes+ and you can only wait in one que at at time. So you can't ride a 30 minute slide while waiting for the 200 minute Krakatu. So what are you supposed to do for 3 hours, ride the lazy river fifty times? By the way there is a line for the lazy river and only one entrance. So you have to go to the ride, get in the que, walk half a mile to get to the lazy river or wave pool, and then wait 90 minutes just to go back to the ride and wait another 20 minutes to get on the ride. Then after you get off the ride you can't relax and grab a drink or bite to eat because you have to walk half a mile to the next ride and get in the virtual que, then walk back to the wave pool or lazy river then wait for 90 minutes to wait another 20 minutes in the real line. Please fix this Universal because it is a mess. I never left a waterpark early and disappointed before visiting volcano bay.
Maybe try going when most people aren't there....
When it starts raining, that's when most people leave, that's ur chance.
when one of my family members didn't use their tapu tapu because they were eating or relaxing or in the lazy river I would tap in two rides. And also look out for those ride now even if you get their late it might only say return in 5 through 10 minutes
I went earlier today with some friends and it was 140 minutes!
I would do anything to revisit here honestly

The TapuTapu system does have some flaws. I think it is a great idea but I don’t like how you can only wait for one ride at a time. If you waiting for Kookiri, you can’t also get a time for Krakatau. And also, when I went to Volcano Bay, the wait time for Krakatau was 155 minutes! I recommend getting there early in the morning so you don’t have to wait!
I really love volcano bay though and I cried when I had to leave! It is my dream vacation! I loved this place so much!
Riiiiight, but how do you think queuing works? When you go to a theme park without virtual queuing do you clone yourself so you can wait for more than one ride at a time?
Now it doesn't, they fixed it over the past couple years, rides are more like 30 minutes on some big ones

Ladies and gentlemen. The worst thing of all time. Constant virtual queues, and a 250+ virtual wait time for Krakatau.
I loooove Volcano Bay but urrrrumm that Tapu Tapu thing is not what it’s cracked up to be when it comes to wait time! You tap in, then when it your time you end up in a line that’s 50 mill min. long still! 😂
My son João Victor is 8 years old and is autistic. We are from São Paulo, Brazil. He is Very passionate about this video, he must have watched it more than 5,000 times.
Every day he asks me to take him to Volcano Bay and to "buy" a tapu tapu.
Now he has started to insistently ask me for a Brazilian-Portuguese dubbed version of the video. I didn't find it on youtube. When I say that It does not exist, he cries. I was wondering if you guys could do one, please. Sorry, I have no idea of the cost of this. I don't know if it's too much to ask, but if it is possible, my son and I would be very grateful.

MasterOff 809 me to because my dad always gets us a hotel at universal and If you have that is on campus near volcano bay you get to go an 1 hour before it opens

That's a good point. I think as time goes by, they'll improve it and I would definitely go again. I must say, the rides were really fun though:)
