A Trip To Volcano Bay! | How To Use Tapu Tapu, The Best Seating Areas & Food Review!

- In today's video we head to Volcano Bay for our first trip of the season! It was a very gloomy and kind of chilly day so the crowd level was very low and all of the rides were "ride now"! While walking around we talked about the best lockers to use to avoid crowds and the most secluded seating areas that should have seats available even on the most crowded days. We also discuss how to use the Tapu Tapu wearable to reserve a spot in the virtual lines. Unfortunately we are not able to bring the GoPro on any water slides, but we could bring it into the fast moving lazy river and because the crowds were so low the rapids were super fun! We had a chance to try some food we have never had before, the BBQ pulled pork sandwich from Kohola Reef.

Me and my family went to volcano bay last August we had to come back due to rain,the park was still closed but we decided to stick around and to our surprise the park opened rides for the last hour and we had the park to ourselves definitely one of the best memories of the trip!

I put a like as well but I will know that it would be nice if he gave a bit more detail on where the seating areas are that he recommended.
I knew I saw you leaving the other day when I was coming to work. Been wondering when you were gonna visit our awesome park again.
Also - You can wear water shoes on many of the rides. The ones you can't are the ones where your feet will directly touch the slide like the drop slides in the volcano.
Raft rides do allow you to wear water shoes.
Good to know. I haven't made it there yet myself. Always across the street at IOA/UO though. I really need to correct that.

Tim, I want to say a BIG THANK YOU for all of your tips in this video! My husband, I and my 2 boys went to Volcano Bay the first week of June for the first time. YAY about time! Haha and I feel that a lower capacity at parks make for a better/faster flow for going on rides and not waiting as long for just about anything.

Lazy rivers are one of my most favorite water park features, I never knew there were fast and rough lazy rivers. It sounds magical!

Hi was only gonna watch u guys till i got back from orlando (im from the uk), but even though im probably not going again till im an adult (im only young now)im still watching u guys cause ur videos are great fun to watch.
I was there last November & it was about 16°! The park had about 25 people in max & 5 of them were Geordies (3 more including my family) & the others were British 😂. My sister & I stayed on the aqua coaster for at least 15 minutes as there wasn't anyone queuing & the lifeguard was telling us that we are crazy & shaking his head at us 😂!
Waterparks are so much more fun when they're not as busy. I went to VB in early December and it was pretty much ride now all 3 days. It was sunny and 70.

I’m in Orlando right now at universal and it is awesome. Volcano bay was so fun. I have a tip for anybody going to volcano bay, if you are going on the water coaster get there early because when I went it was about a 60 to 75 min wait

We used the secluded area you showed last month. it worked perfect for us as it wasn't too far from the kids area but tucked away enough so that our three year old couldn't run back by himself.

me and the kids went on a rainy cloudy day, only maybe 68 in December. Chilly inbetween rides but best day ever for rides, everything ride now. Water is warm so you freeze when you get out. Favorite was the fast river and Aqua coaster. Crowds were about the same as in the video. We had major issues with our tapu tapu, couldn't charge on it (major pain as i had to carry cash and another credit card around), and had to get new ones 3 times.

I've been to Disney World & all it's parks 4x, Stayed at Coronado Springs 2x *miss the pepper market* , Been to Disney in California 3x, Islands of Adventure 2x, Universal 2x, Knotts Berry farms 4x, Six Flags 3x, and am looking forward to this Aqua coaster. The water looks refreshing, anytime I see in vlogs the ocean and water parks I love them. Arizona doesn't have really quite like these water parks , and there are no beaches . You do have to drive a distance to get to a lake
