It's so refreshing to see so many people (Dan in the first place) having so much fun, it makes me happy. It doesn't happen often.
They are the Light in the form of Love, that's why it is impossible not to like.
Absolutely.
Ten thousand?
Let's be fair, though, *try* and sing this song without saying "a thousand miles" in a vague Scots accent. đ It's impossible... and love it.
When he's talking about how they played this song 5 years earlier in a small bar in Las Vegas, you can tell how much he's savoring the moment he's living, how this is pretty much a dream come true, how he can't believe. Best feeling you can get

The song of marshall's car hahaha
No way these guys are from Las Vegas. This is the most British "thousand" I've ever heard...
He sing some parts with a scottish accent on purpose
But most wit an american accent
It's not his native accent. He's performing!
He had elocution lessons beforehand, with a little old British lady learning how to pronounce thousand in the Queen's English. Tea and cucumber sandwiches, watching the Queen's Speech and episodes of Miss Marple. I can just imagine the Queen and Price Charles up here singing this in the Queen's English. I wonder if the Queen would be a good drummer?
I mean is it really possible to sing this song correctly without doing a scottish accent
I like how he keeps drifting into the Scottish accent
pas FO se réjouir avec l car mliiuq
Some songs are apparently impossible to sing with the right timing without their original accent. Try singing "Our House" by Madness in something other than a Southern English accent.
Has anyone actually successfully sung this song without an accent?
Tim Primetal I'm Scottish and saying he's actually good with that accent haha
Yes, especially at the word "thousand"!
I'd walk 500 miles to watch this live
Would you walk 500 more though?
well, good luck doing that xD

This.... this is a band paying tribute to an audience, and the audience paying it back. This was EPIC!
Why do this make me happy? đ just seeing the crowd raising their hands enjoying the music than raising their hands holding their phones. Thereâs such a huge difference
I love you.
Righ?right?
Wow I have watched this a hundred times and never noticed that. You could not be more right! Memories of a time gone by. đ
It's the fact that these people actually know what real music is
M Danielle Ikr
The crowd always do the "Da da lat da" at the first chorus when youre not supposed to but it sounds amazing with them singing it in the background when he's onto the second verse
You can see the singer putting so much effort on keeping up with the rythym
Exactly
It really annoys me that people always start singing the da da da da part too early :D. I never once heard this song beeing sung right by the crowd.
Mangan2504 itâs a Scottish crowd, I think most people who were singing it knew it was wrong but were singing it to keep the spirit up
Not sure though. Evertime this song comes up, everyone gets it wrong. Even though the song is so well known. It literally plays in every club here everytime I go out, and people never get it right.
THE CROWD IS SO PERFECT. they even sang the back vocals of the song, its chilling, in the good way
"Perfect" They even sang the Chorus parts when it didn't fit.
The "dedede" part is not played after the first chorus, so why the F are they chanting it???
@@MrReviewLP cos right then...at that moment... it worked beautifully... moments like this are few and far between nowadays.. ladt i remember was green day / queen

@@MrReviewLP That's what I was gonna be... I MEAN SAY
The crowd continuing with the "da da da" at 1:09 is just priceless. I was afraid that the band skipped that part. But so glad for the end!!
it's funny throughout live recordings, even with the proclaimers, that the crowd often go straight to the 'da da da', while the band starts the second verse.
Thatâs not the correct order though
I was waiting for just that to happen, as every time I've ever been anywhere where there are more than a few people in attendance and this song comes on, they ALWAYS make this mistake. The actual original song has no "da da da da" until after the SECOND verse. Even this very Scottish crowd got in wrong in the 1000s! Is there a better example of how a song is remembered wrongly by such a huge percentage of those that think they know it!?

The key to putting on a great show: KNOW YOUR AUDIENCE
These guys know their audience...sometimes some bands and singers don't really interact with the crowd and just seem like they want to get it over with as quickly as possible. It doesn't make a good show. This is how it should be done...
As a French, that make me proud of being Scottish
