This is so helpful!!! Thanks!
Just picked this up bc of you. Gotta say the build quality of this product is unmatched! Thanks dude!!
Heck ya, you'll have it for years to come fot sure👊
I’ve been wanting to try out co2 and watching setup videos on how to do it gives me more confidence!
👍
Been waiting for this one! 🖤
I enjoy your series of video’s bud keep it up looking real nice all your tanks! Very informative as well.
Thanks
good job!
This video definitely needs more attention. This is a game changer. I was thinking about this but didn't think the parts would match up. Thanks a million.
Thanks
Thanks. Great information. Out of curiosity, why did you flip the video?
It was backwards
I was considering getting a co2 art regulator, gla seems to be the better choice. I am only trying to get it started on a 10 gallon set up just plants. Can you refill paintball tanks or do you have to keep purchasing new ones ?
Nope just refill them like your bigger tanks
Good explanation, thanks.
I got my hands on two brand new paintball 12oz cylinders. Half the capacity of 24 and obviously won't last as long but can't see why they wouldn't work.
Yup they'll do fine like you said just won't last as long
What regulator did you buy, and how much did it cost? Did you have to buy anything else?
GLA paintball
I've heard that the regulator is the same one as the cartridge system. If you buy the cartridge kit, you have to buy the paintball adapter to use it for paintball. Can you confirm if it just has an adapter on it? Buying the paintball one is 125 right now, but the cartridge one is 135 + 20 for the adapter. I'd like the flexibility to use a cartridge in an emergency. Thanks.
Ya I would just do the cartridge
Hey man, I'm about to pull the trigger on a UNS 40C tank (first time aquascaping). One of my main stumbling blocks is the c02 reg. Beyond GLA and the UNS mini regs would you recommend any other quality regulators? I'd be picking up a paintball canister and getting it filled locally. It's just so hard to tell what's quality or not with Amazon etc, and even legit stores as this hobby is kinda niche. Also, any light recommendations for that dimension? It's a 16x16 cube so bit taller. Keep up the good work on these videos! I was also looking at your tank stand diy as well since the UNS ones are out of stock literally everywhere and expensive.
Ya if you can't get GLA which is the best I would do Co2Art there still good and the 2nd best in my opinion, ya never go cheap on a regulator, bc if it leaks or releases to much co2 into your tank it's gonna do a lot of damage, and just depends on what your trying to do but a twinstar light would be good for that or a chihiros light, could even do a single ai prime, but other than that there are some really expensive options that would work like the UNS titan 1 or ADA solar rgb if you wanted to go all out
@@jjaquariums Thanks for getting back to me. So the C02 Art SE is decent? 150 isn't so bad I guess I'd just get a tippman pball cannister and call it a day. Do you have any beginner vids with a list of stuff to get usually? I'm basically set but just curious what you choose for things like ferts, test kits, substrate preferences etc (I noticed you don't use aquasoil on some). Plan is to have either guppies and shrimp or a betta with shrimp.
@@hansolo7594 do you have Instagram? It would be easier to talk to you there
@@jjaquariums I don't sorry man. Thanks for the tips though appreciate it 👍
Do you think a paintball tank will be good for the 60 p 17 gallon tank?
Yup that's perfect
Okay, after having it all set up like this in my 20gal tall, do i just turn the regulator knob to let co2 in? How do i know how many bubbles are going t come out? How much do i turn the know, im clueless anout regulators
Does your regular have a bubble counter?
Where do you get your tank refilled + how does it last you around a year? Like how long do you run it at what bps? I am looking to set this up for a 10 gallon
At a co2 store in my area and on that tank it runs maybe a bubble a sec
@@jjaquariums what gallon is that tank?

Can you post a link to that diffuser?

After air check valve need to use soft co2 tube to connect the glass diffuser.
No need
😊
can you make a link for this regulators.. Thanks

Does the solenoid get hot?
No
What’s the name of that regulator?
GLA Gro
Yo does anyone knows what's wrong with my setup, everytime I start attaching the co2 regulator to the paintball tank it really starts spewing co2 out and idk what's wrong, I even tried putting on the o rings that come with the regulator
Yes it will do that u just gotta get it turned on there quick, vs a 5lb where you have a open and close valve. A pinball is triggered by a pin that gets pushed down
@@jjaquariums but like it REALLY leaks I feel like even if I'm tightening it hard it just never stops spewing
Bro I’m so dam scared of putting on a co2 regulator after having a scary experience with one
This guy has gone tank man 👨 not cave man , tank man 👨
Ada 45c scape will come next week, another tank😂 you guys will love this next one
Bro please don’t go bankrupt lol 😂 honestly set up a cheap tank !!!
@@fishtropiccanada4747 nahhh😂
the check valve should be at water level
Yes but it won't hurt anything being just a little lower I didn't want it up against the glass and potentially marking up the glass being a ADA tank, it would even be all the way at the bottom, it's just gonna take longer to push all that water out, which is why we turn the co2 on a hour Early in the first place to it has time for pressure build up
