What does the aztec secret indian healing clay mask have in common with the cetaphil pro dermacontrol purifying clay face mask?
It's going to be the main ingredient, which is known as bentonite clay. Bentonite clay is a natural clay with a fine, soft texture. And It forms a paste when its mixed with water. And basically how it works is bentonite clay, it starts to adsorb materials by sticking to their molecules or ions. And As the clay leaves off the skin when it gets washed off, it takes the toxins and impurities out with it and off your face. Which means, it helps remove sebum, from the skin’s surface, and at the same time, it may also have a calming effect on inflamed breakouts. So basically, its going grab on to excess oil, dirt, debris, and pollutants off your face, leaving you with a fresh face.
Is aztec clay mask good for acne
Whats unique about the aztec clay, and arguably what makes this so incredibly popular, is the fact that its the only ingredient in it. So if youre one that believes less is more in skincare, this is your best bet right here. It has no preservatives, no fragrances, or other irritating chemicals making it great for sensitive skin. Now lets dive a little deeper on it.
How to use the aztec clay mask
Now one thing you may know about it, is that it has to be mixed before you have to use it, either with water or apple cider vinegar. Which is not the case for the cetaphil one, that is ready to go out of the jar. For you to really maximize the benefits of the bentonite clay and for it to start drawing out those impurities that are tucked away under the skin, make sure you are mixing it with a 1:1 ratio and equal parts of the clay and the apple cider vinegar. So if youre doing 3 tablespoons of the clay, do 3 tablespoons of the apple cider vinegar.
So get a medium size bowl, Stir the mixture until it is a smooth paste - add more clay or liquid as needed. And apply a 1/8th to 1/4 inch thick layer of clay to the face. You want to make sure its not spread out to thin. So 1/4th of an inch is best here. Leave it on for about 5 minutes if you have really delicate skin and about 15- 20 minutes for normal skin. This ends my aztec clay mask review.
Is the aztec clay mask worth it?
You get so much, in such a decent size jar, that you can probably get around 15 masks per jar, which means each mask would be under a dollar. Talk about savings.
Is cetaphil clay mask good for acne. Cetaphil clay mask review can be seen in the video.
With this one here, no mixing is involved at all. So this will help you save some time definitely. And the instructions are simple. Apply it after you have washed your face and leave on for 5 to 10 minutes and then rinse if off with warm water. It can be used up to three times a week if you wanted. When leaving it on, I noticed there is a difference between the texture with this one. So as far as cetaphil clay mask acne goes, it should not cause acne as it is made for sensitive skin.

I use Cetaphil for just about every part of my skincare routine and it changed my life ! I have ridiculously oily skin so blackheads are a major problem. Plus my skin is super sensitive. I use the clay mask 3-4x a week and I swear by it.

This was exactly what I needed, very informative & such a great overall breakdown of both products. I actively use Cetaphil products & have for a while now, they're great for my sensitive dry skin. As of late I've experienced some facial bumps & red spots. Hoping this will help wt my pores as well, I will be trying the Cetaphil mask very soon. Thanks a lot for your thorough review it's much appreciated!

Hi@@ArsalanAspires I have been using it for the past couple of weeks now, at least 3-4 times a week. My pores are still visible, but a lot better than what they had appeared to be. I have really bad pores, I am considering maybe using more of a blackhead removal, but not 100% sure. Thank you for your help!

I have extremely oily skin and use the cetaphil clay mask 3-4x a week. Doesn’t dry my skin or make it sensitive. I genuinely love it, cetaphil changed my life. Plus no mixing required makes it easy to incorporate into yohr routine.

Thanks for the informative review. I'm going to get the cetaphil now. It just has so much more ingredients that i hope will help my skin issues. I don't mind having to prepare the mask before using it, but sometimes it just makes it easier if i didn't have to.

Hello, would you be willing to review/test a new clay mask?
It is 100% natural. Only mixed with water, sieved, autoclaved, dried, and broken apart.
It is a Bentonite clay from the Laurentide Ice Sheet glacial deposit in Northern Ontario, Canada. It comes from the gold bearing district of Cochrane, and has microscopic gold particles at approximately 200-300microns (geologist confirmed). I have found flakes of gold in the sieves.
I have not had X-ray Diffraction Analysis yet.
I'm not sure how to contact but I am interested in finding a doctor that can help review/promote (or give advice on how to improve the product for consumers).
