Steyn had a better outswinger. Steyn was also surprisingly good in pitches known as graveyard for pacers. But Asif had more control and was definitely more of a line and length bowler than Steyn. In that respect Mcgrath is the best.

The best swing bowler at that moment. Michael Clark's delivery was really unplayable. In 2007 T20 World Cup he really bowled well against us. I was glad he could only bowl 4 overs. But seriously I miss this talent. He would have been a great competitor

Great bowling indeed. What an art of swing and seam bowling. We really missed the commentary that Tony Greig used to do. He is one of the best commentator of all time. We loved to hear him during matches. May his Soul Rest in Peace.

In his short span of career, Asif managed to impress all with his gifted swing bowling art and smooth action. He was one of the few bowlers who could swing both ways with the same seam position, due to which it was very tough for batsmen to make out what comes out next.
I always thought he was like a brutal cat. Toying with his prey. Then finishing them off when he felt like it. Damn shame we follow up great praise lamentations of his self destruction. What can ICC and cricket everywhere do to eradicate match and spot fixing?
He had incredible control over length. And the ability to swing and bounce at will. You need to watch a whole spell of his bowling to judge him. Not 1, 2 or even 6 wicket taking deliveries. He epitomized the joy which test cricket stands for.

Moving in air is swing like what James Anderson do.
Moving after pitching is seam.
His line and length was perfect
He was literally unplayable, no batsman in the world could handle him, shame he destroyed his own career.
In his short span of career, Asif managed to impress all with his gifted swing bowling art and smooth action. He was one of the few bowlers who could swing both ways with the same seam position, due to which it was very tough for batsmen to make out what comes out next.
With such a simple yet beautiful action he was at par of McGrath because of the swinging precision in both ways.

Best bowler I have seen to play.
He had incredible control over length. And the ability to swing and bounce at will. You need to watch a whole spell of his bowling to judge him. Not 1, 2 or even 6 wicket taking deliveries. He epitomized the joy which test cricket stands for.
Well well that’s the thing I like about Australia. While other nations social media handles just show theri respective interests, Aussies appreciate the talent even if it goes against them 👍🏻 👍🏻
