Bc after each level if you got three gifts you got the chance to get extra lives by a "luck" game that was super easy to calculate and get the best mushroom, and they were 3 mushrooms of different colors that gave a different number of extra lives, althought the one i remember the most because maybe it had the most llamative color or also was the one i got the most was the yellow mushroom that gave 5 extra lives
