0:00 Introduction 0:29 Choke points (A long, A short, B, Garage, C long) 0:50 Killjoy turret setup in garage (sees garage and C) 1:34 Pros usually give up garage (use utility to detect players in garage) 3:46 Garage player can go to the right side of B instead (good if opponents like to attack A or B) 4:50 If opponents like to attack C, garage player comes to C instead of B (B player can also come to garage with utility in B to detect enemies) 5:53 How to defend A (A lobby is important, send 2 people to A long) 7:35 Play weird! (2 players A, 3 players push mid and flank C) 8:47 Attackers rarely attack B or garage, they usually attack A or C (read your opponents and make adjustments, B is easy to retake by smoking the entrance)
I think the reason why teams do splits is more cuz they had garage control already + they don’t all wanna be stopped in a single choke. If all the util in on c main, the garage players can still push through, allowing the c main players to come out without being worried of spammed to death.
Oh I agree that anytime you can split push is going to be better overall of course, but I do think if the defenders have a plan that a split garage push isn't going to be the end of the world, especially if you have the info they are in there! You'll see in today's video people favour the A site on Haven so generally leaving C a bit more open might be beneficial to a team if it strengthens their A defence!
I can’t believe these videos don’t have more views
