I will add that after Indus Treaty in 1962-63, a great work on Irrigation was done, link canals, headworks, Syphon were made to feed the culturable/ commanandabl area of Rivers Sutluj, Bias, Ravi etc, surrendered to India under this packet. Unfortunately we couldn't construct dams due to political pressure & are causing more that 30 maft wastage of river water annually. Sir, Punjab Irrigation Deptt. is doing marlvous & tremendous work on Irrigation System

Panjab was never an entity before Sikhs. Anybody who adores Punjab is Sikh at heart. It all Indus Valley. The British settled Indian in Faisalabad and Sahiwal with ulterior motives. Same continues in Bahalpur today

We can say that the above mentioned areas developed around about 1500 years with the natural growth of inclusive society. That's why Indian Punjab and the Lahore of Pakistani Punjab are more progressive than rest of the other areas.

Sir you are wrong on one thing. Jhang was a historical city state, like Multan, and it's even mentioned in old scriptures. Heer was from Jhang. It's a historical place. It was NOT made by British. New cities include Sargodha, Faisalabad, Sahiwal.
Such a wonderful comment. You are right. Even Alexander the great stayed here. But in my humble opinion, before British, it wasn't developed as a major city. It was not that rich and agriculture hub. It was canal system that changed the destiny of this area. Please keep sharing your valuable information.
The Sikh leader master Tara Singh and the British mutilated Punjab.....the were biased and they divided Punjab and Punjabi nation.....and after partition, the hindues very skillfully contained Sikhs into a minimum area ,about 50k aq kilometer....they divided Indian Punjab into four provinces....now same process is demanded in Pakistani Punjab....why other provinces not divided.....Muslims got a very short are of Punjab.....
