Great looking bowl, almost looks like it was turned! Fantastic video thanks for sharing and participating in the challenge 👍👍👍
And thank you for sponsoring and setting up the challenge!
Ingenious! Love how it turned out. Thank you.
I just love the effects you have managed to get with the laminated woods! 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks!
Great job! But I was waiting for the suit and tie next hahahaha
I like the contrast the maple brings. It brightens up the bowl. This has to be my favorite bowl so far. Keep up the wonderful videos.
Thank you, and I'll try!
Great job, love the contrast between the woods, and the pattern is the finishing touch.
I appreciate the kind words!
Great work. First time I have seen this done definitely going to give it a go!!
It's a cool technique. You can mix different woods at different angles to get all sorts of interesting final effects.
You rose to the challenge and nailed it!👍
Great job, I like the way the maple looks... very creative pattern wouldn't change if I could. Thank you for the video.
Thank you for watching and for the kind words!
I like the challenge since I'm finding new channels to follow and so far the your bowl is the one that I like the best.
Thanks!
its definatly the smartest way i have seen
A beautiful looking bowl, and the inlay pattern is top notch, definitely gets my vote
Thank you!
Wow! That came out really nice.
Very clever how you built up the pattern in layers, well done!
That's the great thing about this technique: because of the way the cutting is done you can glue up a bunch of scraps and end with a interesting bowl with very little waste material.
Thanks for sharing, beautiful!
That's a nice looking bowl.
I think so too! XD
Thank you!
Fantastic bowl.
Thank you very much!
The pattern looks great
Thanks!

Thanks! Feel free to message me any time if you need some pointers.
jahellen thank you
Totally love the way you start with something flat and end up with such swooping curves. Love it.
Thanks!
turns out nice
That's a beautiful bowl.
Thank you!
Nice job.
🔫🔫🔫 absolute G!!! Tasty work man!
That’s a superb non turned bowl. Fantastic result.👍(But you have done it before- April 18)😀
I've been working with this technique for a while now; just look back through my publishing history. ;-)
nice job man 👍🏻👍🏻😍😍
Thanks!
Великолепная работа! Класс! +
Wow, that was like watching some sort of wizardry - it was flat and then it was a bowl - Brilliant. I really enjoyed your video/production style and that bowl looked perfect - did you edit the lathe bit out ;-)
Nope, no lathe! Wouldn't have a place to keep it even if I did have one.
jahellen :-) I was only joking about the lathe of course but your bowl is lathe perfect. Amazing.
good design, cant even see the lines, looks like it was made from a solid chunk of wood. beautiful work.
Thanks!
I want to buy a pair of the Bessey clamps like you use. What length do you recommend? I'm thinking 24". What are yours?
I think they're 30 inches.
If I wanted to communicate with you, do you have an email address, do you Facebook or whatever? I would like to ask you a few questions but I don't want to do it here. Please let me know if that is possible. I'm not a weirdo. Just an old guy who is into scrolling and bowl/box/basket making. I'd like to show you a couple of things I've made.
