Thanks so much for this. I’ve been being verbally attacked by my own classmate for trying to improve myself, with him calling it an act and telling me to STFU whenever I was genuinely trying. I know he’s probably already going to hate me if I try to do anything, given that when I tried to apologize he shot me down, saying I was acting for attention which I wasn’t. I was genuinely telling him how I felt in that situation.
