I find it funny how riposte had a muzzle flash glitch just like how arc logic did when it released. I wonder if this glitch will happen every time arc logic gets reskinned.

iirc Arc Logic had to reduce the flash becuz they were getting reports of players prone to having fucking SEIZURES that it was a problem for them to use

It’s actually not very surprising, this frame historically has a lot of muzzle flash. Both ark logic and misfit had way too much muzzle flash, and they were both toned down. And all three of these weapons to share a model.

The likely reason the Warlock was using blink is 1. After the buff it actually became decent 2. It's like the only reliable counter on Warlock to Storm Edge as it's like the only way to avoid getting hit.
My thumbs have been waiting years for a zen moment 720 and bungie finally delivered, they even managed to NOT make it look ugly as shit this time!!
This thing has it all. 17 zoom and a lightweight frame with a stacked perk pool. Those stock options give this some juiced stats, great stability and handling on the one I'm currently running.

got a target locked tap the trigger and I love it, feels smooth without the insane flash
Also the glitch roll is fire if you have one still
Killing wind + encore x4 and small bore pushes range out to 38 m, if you mixed range it will hit for 39 m

@@slashxd7971 i mean for PvP angry gamers there was a sweet spot during Shadowkeep just before trials came back. We had so many maps. All mars leviathan io earth moon etc. we had good meta with good grind then trials came back we got a few more maps etc. the glory days yk and what do we have now? 13maps give or take.. so mostly for PvP players our anger and toxicity stems from playing a thing we love deep down but it's most gutted boring repetitive form .. I assume pve players are mad BC they're bad at PvP and pve is laughably easy with guide vids and Sherpas

It’s better than transmat, tbh idk why they changed in the first place, spawning with 2 and getting 1 on kills was perfectly fine, bungie is just digging a deeper and deeper hole, making the special ammo situation worse and worse
I massively prefer the 1-1-1 system. It takes the benefits of each system without the major negatives of each system in a vacuum because they compliment each other. I can't wait for the meter system to be implemented into the 1-1-1 system though.

No way they actually changed muzzle flash for once ? I had the exact same issue with this gun, amazing feel, unusable due to muzzle flash. Now I actually have a reason to grind out comp, based.
To be honest, I wouldn't be surprised if the reason they changed the muzzle flash was Wallah's earlier video on the weapon where is said his only complaint is the muzzle flash. It's such a small detail that Bungie would never usually change.
They have toned the muzzle flash down on a few guns before, including Arc Logic, which is what this gun's model is based on. So it was probably just a legacy thing that got carried over when they were making this weapon.

Id be willing to bet money that the muzzle flahs issue was a left over from the gun that shares ripostes model, the arc logic. When that gun dropped it had a decent perk pool but the muzzle flash was something that kept people from using it. They eventually toned it down. But hearing that riposte had bad mizzle flash and since they share almost the same base model im willing to bet something in the code wasnt changed all the way ehen make the new weapon and slipped through.
I wouldnt say it was unusable before the change. Was still pretty good before and its even better now with the change

Folks, what is the most effective way to gain transcendence using an energy weapon on PVP? I know about fragment, which gives you dark energy, but it's way too slow in comparison with kinetic weapons.

Is blink actually bad, i feel like it lets you close the distance quickly (not as well as strand) and in general it creates alot of confusion in 6s
the skill ceiling is much higher with blink than with the other jumps. It has potential, but for most people it's too much effort for not enough payoff. Especially since blink almost requires pairing the exotic helmet with to not be a handicap.
@iamsuperman10 yea ive been running exclusively blink for a long time, it feels great especially with astrocite verse. You can 50 50 people on controler by blinking left or right of them and it takes then forever to turn around

The khvostov due to its perk but outside of its perk the range on it stands no chance against the riposte but khvostovs dominating the meta right now , they did nerf it to the point where its easier to fight against tho so auto rifles your best choice is either the khv or riposte

@@wayneplowman9880 don't move the goalpost by adding the timeline for the fix as a factor. Also, you might expect them to speed up this sort of fix as time goes on based on the feedback they got from the previous fixes, the ease of repeating a fix they've implemented before, and the importance of this weapon being the competitive reward. Bungie has made similar fixes quickly before too, during mid season patches, so your comment is still BS.

Even though they fixed the muzzle flash, I’m still gonna take my Rufus’s fury 9 times out of 10. I feel like it’s visual recoil and its actual recoil pattern is just so much better and easier to control regardless of stability stat than the riposte. Even at 100 recoil direction the riposte just feels so hard to control even if I get a roll with crazy stability.
100 recoil direction isnt always optimal
Recoil is non existent on d2, plus this allows u to use it with conditional
@@kyanmatena3948 I just did some testing, there is not a single number of recoil direction obtainable on riposte that fixes its extremely awful recoil pattern. It trails off to the right super hard no matter what recoil direction so you’re right. That’s absolutely dumb

@@schizohopper no no, you get one after completing the weekly 3 matches. You can only get one per week for each character you have. When you complete your third match it should automatically appear as a pop up like a math reward, and the auto rifle should show up in your intentory.
