I swear while Sal was explaining this I came up with a better Batman/Daredevil crossover in my head & I couldn't write for shit! God damn what a missed opportunity.

Oh. So same Universe, Bullseye take a job to kill Commissioner Gordon, Joker take umbrage to this because he has plans to fuck with Gordon. So Joker thwarts Bullseyes initial attempt which brings in Batman who assumes it's the Joker doing it. Daredevil hears about the attempt believes it's Bullseye heads for Gotham. Batman & Daredevil punch a bit then there mates, here I'd have a conversation about ideology and quantifying it with how the two deal with faith. They team up to find Bullseye, meanwhile Joker finds Bullseye and they talk a bit then Joker tries to kill Bullseye because 'no one plays with Joker's toys'. But Bullseye can kill Joker easy then classic comics move, Batman & Daredevil show up save Joker from death. They fight Bullseye, then Joker fucks with Daredevil then Daredevil starts wailing on him leading to Joker laughing "He hits harder than you" but the point of the story is who hired Bullseye to kill Gordon. So Bullseye gets caught, Murdock interrogates Bullseye whilst Batman does detective things and Joker is hospitalized in the same hospital as Gordon. The interrogation is full of pathos, Batman finds out it's bigger than they ever thought and off course Joker get's loose and fucks with Gordon in the hospital and Joker tries to tell Gordon why Joker likes to fuck with him. I don't have a who or why because I'm a crap story teller but this story has the bar set real low so...could it all just be a run around by Joker? sure. Kingpin? Why not. Electra teaming up with Talia as a crappy woman scorned plot? Probably not, but that team up would be cool. Like I said the bar is low.
Same here! I have my own idea: Keep Two-Face as the DC villain (and keep the stuff with Dent and Murdock having gone to school together at some point, only write it a bit better of course), but use Kingpin as the Marvel villain. Maybe Kingpin is just trying to further his criminal empire, and he decides to stake a claim in Gotham, and he convinces Two-Face and his gang to be in on it or something. And maybe circumstances arise where Daredevil has to appear in court, meaning that Matt has to basically be in two places at once, so Batman (who knows his identity by that point) dresses up as Daredevil, and that's how the two are forced to debate each other about justice and their methods of crime fighting or something. And if they really had to do that "game of chicken" scene, maybe the Purple Man (or someone) mind controls them to fight each other? Or Batman gets mind controlled, and DD doesn't move when Bats is about to run him over because DD's plan is "I know this guy isn't a killer, so maybe the shock of running me over will snap him out of it." And at the last second, Bats is like, "What the heck am I doing?!" and swerves at the last second, and then later says, "Jeez. You really ARE the Man Without Fear." (I'm just throwing out random ideas at this point.)

I love Daredevil, I actually prefer him over Batman, but Batman has the best rogues gallery hands down and that's what makes him the best overall.

In fairness to D.G. Chichester, he wrote a great story called "Last Rites" from DAREDEVIL vol. 1 #297-300 where Daredevil dismantles The Kingpin's entire criminal empire. It's basically "Born Again" but in reverse.

How is it even possible to hear a heartbeat inside a car with a jet engine, from a distance far enough for you to still have time to think when it is driving at top speed?
This is Superman's level of super hearing, yet he couldn't hear Batman's heartbeat when he was stalking Daredevil. Just the usual comic book inconsistency I guess.
I partly agree. But remember Daredevil doesn't hear everything all the time. He has to be selective with what he is focusing it on.

Loved this episode and I know Sal hates this but if I may, I would love to see more:
1. Marvel: 80s and Early 90's X-Men, Classic Spider-Man(80s, and early 2000s, J Michael Straczynski, and Marvel Knights), Marvel Knights, More Ultimate Universe stuff: Ultimates 1 Vol 2 as well as Ultimates 2, Ultimate X-Men(Sometimes it was great sometimes it was shit) and Ultimate Fantastic Four(really dug this series)
2. DC: Geoff Johns' Justice League, Hawk-World, more Rebirth books, Teen Titans/Titans(Judas Contact did pretty well...), Birds of Prey(Dixon and Simone are both great runs), Bludhaven 90's and 2000's Nightwing(New 52/Rebirth Nightwing sucks hard), Shazam?(the movie looks promising), Legion of Superheroes(One day they will be great again), More Geoff Johns Green Lantern, Mark Waid and Geoff Johns Flash, Brad Meltzer JLA(its kinda cool)

I will commend this story for teaming up Two-Face and Mr. Hyde. These two characters display the duality of man, how we have both a dark side and a light side. It's kind of brilliant. Like putting on socks with sandals. I now have the freedom given by sandals, but also the comfort of socks warming my feet, and now my feet won't get dirty, and oh god this was a terrible mistake that shouldn't have come into this Earth.
I'd love to see a Batman/Moon Knight crossover.
Or a Daredevil/TMNT crossover.

Great back issues! I Do think crossovers have gotten a bit better recently, I read the first two issues of Wonder Woman/ Conan and that was actually pretty decent!
So much potential for a great crossover but they dropped the ball hard. At least it made for a fun episode of Back Issues lol.

I always found it funny how daredevil should be called batman, since he uses sonar hearing and echolocation as his greatest ability, like a bat. Batman should be called Daredevil cause he's just a normal ass guy who dresses up and does stunts all over the city, striking fear into criminals, like a devil.

At some point, it would be cool if you did Marvel's 2013 'Infinity' event. Or Annihilation. (The one with Annihilus, not Ultron. Can't remember exactly.) Those two are some of my personnal favorites from Marvel.

That book has one of the coolest comic panels ever though: batman throws four batarang at daredevil. He caught them in a way where the b-rangs represent devil horns. Sounds cheesy but damn it looks awesome.

I remember reading a probe sent to fly by Pluto was using the CPU of the original Playstation, so maybe the villains were thinking of, like, daisy-chaining the boards for computing power or whatever? lol.

Honestly thought this would have been a good one as a kid.It even had Two Face as the villain.
I was thinking the plot would be: Two-Face is committing crimes that pulls in both Batman and Daredevil. Batman can compare Daredevil to Harvey Dent if he had become a vigilante, reminding himself of how he misses and respected Dent. Now he'd hunting Dent, and Daredevil is grappling with the fact that the man he is hunting, was someone who helped solidify his view of Justice, a person he feels had the roles been reversed, would he himself of become this monster?
Aww well. It was a kids pipe dream anyways...
