Hi. My 2006 Toyota Camry SE doesn’t have the little button to push and hold for 5 seconds. What should I do to disable the alarm? Could you or someone help? Please!
How do I do this on a 2007 Corolla ??? I lost the transponder key but have 2 keys that are not transponder keys that work on the doors and ignition . Thanks
@@anthonygreen207 On my 97 avalon there is a button/securtiy light on the left of the steering wheel. I was able to hold that light down. It clicks in and out
This is a year late, but the older cars (in this case, Toyota Camry) got a security mechanism in which the car's alarm goes off NONSTOP. This often happens when you change the battery or take off the battery's terminal and put it back on, the car alarm goes off. It is really an annoyance if you don't know how to turn it off during maintenance. It happened to my dad before work as he thought he could do a light maintenance/check up but instead he woke up the neighbors with the car blaring out the alarm nonstop early morning (yeah, my neighbor weren't happy lol). Alot of owners of older Camry don't have the fob key anymore (like my dad) so we need to do this process in order to turn off the alarm.
