I'm a balloon twister just up the road in Verwood, Dorset (Mr Pop's balloons). I primarily do balloon modelling at parties and events, and make displays too. Facebook is key to my business, primarily because my customers are families who are active on the platform in local parenting groups.
Yeah I totally get that! One of my balloonie friends gets all her business from FB!
Think I need to get to grips with it more. These groups for families etc seem to be great for leads!
@@chloemiles-qn4ti absolutely, and there's often a nice word-of-mouth thing happening on there, as existing customers tag their friends under your posts to draw attention to it.
I've found the downside was there's soooo many groups to join and post in! 😆
Glad I came across this interview. I think everyone has felt some; if not all of what was said about running a business. So thank you for sharing your words of wisdom and encouragement. Regarding Facebook I literally get no business from FB just likes. I connect my instagram to FB so anything I post goes onto there at the same time and thats about it.
Hi Chloe, with regards the minimum spend for your clients: Is the minimum £300 plus vat (£360), or £300 including vat?
