this isnt real music and i assume the person who made this knows this isnt lmao, this is literally made on kinemaster and u can hear the stretching on the amen loop. (by real music I mean this is a mashup)
Lmfao this is a terrible attitude to have about art. just because something is low quality or someone is making it from a different skill level doesn't make it bad. You're more than welcome to not enjoy it but its a pretty awful thing to say that someone's work is "not real music" have you listened to anything other than pop you troglodyte purist? There's plenty of music that sounds "worse" than this and critics would consider it to be theoretically genuis. Art is subjective and there is not such thing as art that "isn't real art"
the amen break "not fitting" with the guitar is a pretty subjective criticism. i think it does. the amen break stretching doesn't really mean anything - it isn't particularly a bad thing. you don't know "everything about music." quit being pretentious.
Shit's not even confusing, considering the name is "dumbfvckgirl", I'm gonna guess "300 pills and a 12 gauge" is just le funny 9gag suicide cause XDDD!!! (shit's corny asf)
I can hear what you are looking for and whilst I personally don't quite think its there I can feel the emotions its conveying and that makes it pretty good, keep going
I have no taste for breakcore or whatever modern genres are yet I get recommended cool stuff like this Also the sexual tension between my mouth and the winchester shotgun loaded with 12 gauge slugs at the other side of my room
There's something here, at least, I see it. Its not a fleshed out musical idea , maybe it was intentional and maybe it wasn't, but this led me to some interesting songwriting decisions. Rapidly shifting tempos over a melancholy guitar riff, very grungy... So, I fvck with it - even if it does sound unfinished.
To each their own man, I happen to like it. It's different. I'd take this over some generic cookie-cutter bullshit in a heartbeat. Keep experimenting pls it's cool
Love it. If someone finds this too experimental and weird (The guitar and drums don't match up 😢 😢😢😢 )they really gotta get out of their box. And frankly i dont care if it didnt take much effort. All i care sbout is the mood it creates And this creates an interesting mood. Good job
it is bad, but one day you’re gonna create an alright one, next, you’re gonna create a decent one, next you’re gonna create a good one, and next you are gonna create a great one. So look at the hate comments as your motivation.
I think its great, because i like it. You are the hatecomment disguised under "reasonableness". You are what kills motivation, because you dont say good job, you say one day its not gonna be shit...
I like this a lot. I gotta disagree with some of the other comments here. I'm not always a huge fan of amen break because it's so widespread, but I think it's used interestingly here. I also think it's slower tempo fits with the droning guitar.
A lot of people are going to attempt to compensate for the pinned comment and brownnose you, don't listen to the brainless empty positivity feedback. As crass and callous as nfqs is, he is probably the most honest one here. You have potential as long as you keep striving to improve, don't let these contrarians deprive you of the will to succeed because in the end, they won't listen to your other works, they won't follow you, they'll just give you some of their own entropy and stagnation. It doesn't matter how good this is, not in my telling of this story, but improve based on what's holding you back, that's all that matters.
I like to experience music with attention, I personally enjoyed the emotion this song gives, even tho I wished it was a little longer and had more elements in between but that's just me, it offers enough for some replays, also keep improving, ignore the positive hollow comments and don't let the negatives change your direction, re inforce it and blast their ears with that they hate, that's how music has prevail in all ages, insist in making them mad!
Weird hate but oh well. Unpolished stuff is great, I like that the drums sort of lag and then play catch up. Messes with the timing, but not so much that it's impossible to listen to. Gud shid 👌
Ignore the people being dicks. The only real issues are the drum fills. They're inconsistent with the tempo, but just learn, and get better at what you do.
I love the human error and how noticeable off beat it is but in a good way, I love the riff the percs are so just good, it sounds just someone having fun and I love it
this is fire as hell, ive come back to this song multiple times this week. i dont know where all the hate is cropping up all of a sudden, but it seems like an intentional group effort. either way, keep doing you
i dig this, seriously. it's a simple starting point if you're new to producing breakcore, but please know i fw this. saw someone in the comments point out how the drums lag and play catch up with the guitar and i like what that does sonically, puts you on the edge, and though it's a simple loop it really does give you the vibe that something is about to tip over. love what this has going for it. keep going!
This is a whole mood, it just needs to be longer. Copy, paste, add a new element, switch up the break a bit, gold. Those last two bars are already a good transition, just repeat them again. PS: I'm not a musician. Take me with a grain of salt.
I can see where youre going with this but i feel like the very simple use of the amen break really brings it down, make it go faster, make it break, loop it at a specific section, add more flare to it. I kind of dig in the vibe this is going for but it just needs that extra effort and thought put into it.
Don't listen to the haters this is unique in the coolest way I've heard in years. This is awesome. I have to try and play this groove on my kit tomorrow, it's too good
this track is like a brilliant sandwich that lacks a few ingredients, i see how it could be brought up to perfection but as unfortunate as it is i am not that guy with the predispositions to do so. try to evaluate on it once more and perhaps release a second version/remix lasting a bit longer, longer riffs, bakcground suppresion once or twice to bring the guitar up front for a moment and having more ups and downs moments. dont get me wrong i know nothing about music im just giving you a viewpoint through the eyes of a simple man. i really like that piece, would love to hear more from it
Been a fan for a good minute. This is exactly the kind of stuff that itches my brain -- the slower and more badass sounding drum and bass. Keep up the awesome work! (And more stuff like this would be lit) (Also obligatory "upload this to Spotify")
it gives of a sort of like laid of anxiety that you have been putting away for a long time and its just catching up. it isnt a panic attack but it may be if it continues for a week. a sort of background anxiety.
mid, 4/10 this sounds like a newgrounds loop (especially because the amen break is so loud) and the amen break just doesnt fit with the guitar.

taken inspiration from my love of indie music (mostly cardigans, abba and boa)
all awesome artists to be inspired by, especially boa they’re so fucking good frrrr😭❤️
wheres the art from?
lliterally where? you cant even fit the inspiration of that into here, how did those artists change anything about this project

very agressive, very grungy.. great atmosphere in here
