I swear, you need an internet award of some kind for your videos. Besides your amazing editing and sound work, they’re often educational and you do so much for S Korea and literature. They’re their own documentaries and besides being visually stunning, they’re fun and therapeutic. I love your work, and l hope someday, that you get some kind of recognition for all the work you do. It’s just SO different than what other BookTubers do! It’s not just being culturally different, but the stuff you do for your book videos are so unique as well. I really love your kind of noticing tiny things in your videos „the art of noticing small things“. Rain that turned into a small brook down the street, the sun dancing on the ground of the tram, cute plants in cafes or (my fav) filming every dog that comes along your way! That’s really the thing for me❤
I really enjoy your less structured vlogs. Seeing freedom and exploration through your Lenz is fun and you feature lots of things I sometimes probably wouldn’t have stopped to look at or enjoy if by myself. My wife and I went to Seoul this April to visit our daughter. She is at language school learning Korean. We had a great time. Our favourite place for breakfast was "Thanks, oat" 21-10 Bukchon-ro, Jongno District. Love watching your videos reminding us of our trip

It’s so nice here in Alberta Canada we are ACTUALLY GETTING A REAL SPRING this year with tons of rain and cooler temps! Normally we have been at 25+ already the past couple of years, but the cool and rain was needed 🌱 🌸

As a watched this video all throughout I had a smile plastered on my face, and I was thinking “wow, this vlog is different, something in it is just 🥹 yes” and then you literally voiced my thoughts hahahaha you tend to do that a lot, voice what i’m thinking or an opinion I have! I’m hitting that like button so I can always come back to it ❤
So true that scents are a huge memory trigger for people. That is where that line from the twenty one pilots song Stressed Out - “Sometimes a certain smell will take me back to when I was young, How come I’m never able to identify where its coming from? I’d make a candle out of it, if I ever found it, Try to sell it, never sell out of it, I’d probably only sell one, it’s be to my brother because we have the same nose.”
I love that line in the song because it is the same experience we all have, only for different combinations of smells and attached to different memories.
And you were reading about the food scene in San Diego while wearing a food related shirt 😂❤

I just realized that I have been planning to have a Cari-vlog-life staycation for myself in a couple of months. I was thinking through how to spend my vacation days for the rest of this year while being low cost and decided I would like to spend a few days trying cafes and reading. Now I know where I got the idea!
Your videos inspire me to go out and experience life more - today I got a pastry from a vegan cafe and sat to read my book (Crescent City 3) in a public plant house in a park, and it just felt so nice to take a little bit of time and treat myself to that!
