GodZji Did you buy from MB dealership? Thinking about buying from non-MB dealership. MB warranty expires in June 2020. Thoughts?
Luca Falconi I bought mines earlier this year from a MB dealership and I have extended warranty with it being CPO.

The 7 speed on the c450 is known to be clunky and has issues. Even though it's been in production for a long time it was never really used in a higher performance vehicle
felt fine when I rode in one a couple weeks ago. Definitely not clunky at all. But if you're in sports+ and feather the pedal it does do some weird things since it can't tell if you wanna stop or go. Just leave it in comfort in heavy traffic if you like to feather the pedal
As someone who own a c450 the transmission is not clunky at all. In manual mode it shifts fast and if you leave it automatic it stays in the powerband well to the point it feels like it never stops pulling. Like the other commenter said sport+ is not for the commute it does weird things when you are not trying to go fast but put it in comfort or eco in traffic and you are golden.

Where did you find it was useless? My cousin has c450 and c43. He always says that the gear shifts of the c450 are much better.
Sorry the 9 speed is way better. I have driven both and i noticed almost immediately with the e class. It is light years better, in both luxury and drive smoothness. A clunky trans screams a bad car. The 7 speed is adequate...But it's not up to the standards of any other luxury car. If you have the money get the 9 speed, and always go for the 9 speed.

@@PushingPistons only difference is the 9 speed automatic transmission and it has more power to the rear wheels.
