Actually, not true. Harnoor is operating in grey zone I feel. They usually set up a Delaware corp.. company and you are not the same. Company makes money, not him. The grey area is that you cannot be an active employee of your own company and if your work in US makes your company some money, you shouldn't have an intent to get it back - hard to prove

Correct you will have to make your case for artist on O1B visa and you can file O1B visa while you are on F1 Visa - if that's what you meant.
