  • @milenakraska4370
    @milenakraska4370 Před 2 lety +39

Hii, loved the video but as I am Polish I can answer some questions haha
    1) I have never seen the energy drink in Poland, so it is definitely not a common thing
    2) paluszki - the pretzel sticks - are common during some parties or you can buy them in smaller packs in local shops or in a school canteen to snack on but we don't eat them with lunch. They are also available with sesame coating. In Poland we usually have a full meal, like a dinner, at 2-3pm instead of lunch and we have a lighter "supper" - usually open-faced sandwiches
    3) again - the Alibi bar - I've never seen it
    4) Ptasie Mleczko (the marshmallows) translates to Bird's Milk so it is like an aphrodisiac and the question below says "And you, from which side do you start?" because in Poland some people eat the chocolate coating first and then they eat the marshmallow so it refers to that
    hope this helped xx

I've ordered a subscription box from "Snack Surprise" for the last year, you can choose a box containing 5- (mini) up to 15 (deluxe) countries snacks! they send you a mix of sweet, savoury, even a drink, and you get a leaflet too explaining which country they're from that month, I've really enjoyed them! some stuff tastes great, other stuff pretty rank but it's fun haha. would definitely recommend!

I'm from England and have tried a few polish snacks because they're so accessible. there are polish shops in every town. I've also been to Poland (well worth visiting)
winiary mayo which has a bit more of a kick. Being someone that hates onions I was pretty happy to see a cheese flavour walkers crisps there too.
Another one I really like are there tymbark drinks especially cactus juice. But they've reduced the sugar content so might not taste is good anymore :(

You have those pretzel things in every polish household just as a snack! Always! They are so good and come in different flavours like sour cream, it’s good! Advocat flavour is basically Baileys/eggnog flavour. The fudge is the best thing ever as well as those wafer bars grzesiek or princepolo or princessa, they are good! Ptasie mleczko is one of the most popular things also, it’s really really good but maybe not everyone likes it hehe

@@erikae20 Ask me two other easier questions, please! (Kérdezz kettőt és könnyebbet!) Plain one! Agreed. Milk chocolate, dark chocolate, actually i do like the store brand types too with fruity filling. When they are on clearance, buy them in bulk, freeze them; best ice-cream. It is really a hungarian thing... I do not have favourite one, just the ones i like less, like the hazelnut one is way too dense, like a full-ass chocolate bar, not the airy, fluffy thing, too sweet as well as like the Maxi King. The almost new "Túródesszert"... Nothing new, just $$$$. Amazing, how they can trick You with a bite size bar, i mean 35 gr - 200 Ft. Literally 2 bites. The Fit ones are like... Yeah, they need profit, obesity here is one of the highest in the EU and worldwide, but... I would choose a piece of fruit and a probiotic yoghurt instead. Recently at Christmas they came out with the overprices AF bon-bons, have You tried them? Like 8 tiny pieces filled with that hazelnut filling, covered in cheap-ass chocolate for like 900Ft. or something. Price would be like ok, but they taste like ass. They tried different flavour but why? I mean they had questionnaires about new flavors, "please recommend something new" (but why? if You watch a movie, the 3rd, 4th, 6th episode will be like nah, we would've been better of with the OG without the bitter aftertaste of the "lets make more profit, whatever.... let's write SPECIAL or LIMITED TIME ONLY shit".) I recommended coffee one and cherry-/apple pie flavours, as well as traditional hungarian dessert flavors - Rákóczy túrós, Kókuszgolyó with cherries and some rum, Dobostorta, oh and Caramel - Matcha.. So their products.. Same with Pöttyös's Chocolate milk. It doesn't make a difference if its the regular one, 50%less sugar one> diet culture hello, they taste AWFUL. Do You remember the "kakaós tej, karamellás zacskós tej" > chocolate milk, caramel milk they sold in bags like 20 years ago? I was in love with them. After school... That was the real deal. So back to the OG question... The last time i had that "Where have You been my baby? Momma's gonna finally take You home." It was Milli's floating island one. Tiny, tiny, perfect! (Madártejes Milli - lilás-barnás) Do You live abroad? I hope they do not connect hungarian chocolate or traditional szaloncukor with Tibi (no offense). Minden jót kívánok! Ha szükséged van valamire, tudod hol találsz! 🙂👏

For me the fruity ones are too sweet for my liking but they are a good treat occasionally 😅
I know, it’s the profit they care about rather than actually considering the flavour or the quality. I haven’t tried the new dessert thing but you are the third person who told me that it is bad 😆
      I would love a kokuszgolyo one😱
Pöttyös now have a 0% sugar turo rudi right? I mean it is better in terms of helping people with diabetes or for those who can’t have sugary thing but still, what is the replacement? Is it something we can’t even pronounce? 🤦🏻‍♀️
My brother loves chocolate milk, a couple years ago it was a staple in our fridge
I live in Wales, and they don’t really know what szaloncukor is tbh😅
😂 well, for me Chimney cake is hungarian but a number of Romanian in our school says it’s actually theirs. I believe it depends on which part of romania they are from 🤷🏻‍♀️
