    Brilliant stuff James! With it being a doddle to magnetise, there might be one joining the ranks of my Ultramarines soon. “Courage and Honour!”

    Thanks for this, i was looking for a solution for the big guns and i had not even thought about the chest weapons

    Really man we want to know how to magnetize the waist! LOL it already comes is a plug-and-play top option with the arms or rather the main gun anyway, would really love to see how to magnetize the leg so I can get a rotating torso I'm nervous about cutting into the hip bones of my Redemptor.

    less of "how to magnetize" and more of "where to magnetize", but still helpful

    I was looking at the war suits there is a pre made magnet kit for it . I was thinking of going to try that out for my war suit. Good job on the dred it will come in handy when i get one .

    Those don't look like 3x2mm, they look more like 2x1mm.. I'm sat here with a 3mm drill bit looking at my Redemptor, and it's massive compared to your holes for magnetizing!

    • @mauricecristello5588
      @mauricecristello5588 Před 3 lety +2

      I don't think they're even 2x1mm...I'm holding a 2x1mm at the moment and the diameter is too big (i.e. the 2mm is as wide as the post on the plasma incinerator that mounts up into the arm socket, where the magnet is supposed to go). Pretty sure these should be a 1x1mm...

      @JamesEarlCash Před 3 lety +1

      @@mauricecristello5588 my friend used only 1x1mm magnets on every part and it works and holds pretty well so yeah. If you really need, just use two of those in some parts.

      @@JamesEarlCash - thank you sir for the confirmation! Just ordered 50 of these off of Etsy and looking forward to magnetizing my Dread.

      I used 2x1.5 deep magnets, 2 barely leaves the little square part with much meat around the magnet but it works well, if you could find a 1.5x1.5 that would probably be perfect, but the 2x1.5 worked for me, and I did 3x1 for the fist mounted smaller guns.

    How to?

  • @TunaSandwichify
    @TunaSandwichify Před 3 lety +1

    I know this is a year old, but how many arm joints come with the redemptor kit? Like the ones that go in the plasma incinerator and onslaught cannon? Are their two so you can do this?

    Hi this is a great video. Can you please share what tools you used to drill the holes?

    • @18thCadianArmyGroup
      @18thCadianArmyGroup  Před 2 lety +2

      Thanks David… I used a hand drill, plus drills for the appropriate size for the magnets to fit in. 👍

    @JBWargamer87 What bond did you use for the magnets to make them stay in place?

    The gatling cannon and heavy flamer just stick by themselves without magnets for me.
