- What do you get when you mix a brilliant concept, a wide and expansive cast of beloved characters, and a creator with a flawless track record of amazing cartoons? Jellystone ofcourse. While Chowder and Harvey Beaks will remain great classics, it's time to see if Jellystone truly lives up to the creators legacy. Cause the drama at Warner Brothers definitely isn't. Thankfully the second season is still coming to HBO Max.....oh sorry it's just Max now....I guess....
I made a series of fan fictions just like this about ten years ago. Only it was basically Epic Mickey with Hanna Barbera characters.
Speaking of which, very excited for the Epic Mickey remaster.
What would the show be like if it was more accurate and faithful to the original source material?
HB was more 80s / late 90s they started phasing them to boomerang then 00s was more ed fosters etc
I like that they didn't change the main hanna barbra characters yogis still a smart aleck trying to get a free food wherever he can
(like the episode where he pretends the hillbilly bear kid is his son so he can get chuckie cheese pizza) huckleberry hound is still a down home straight man top cats still a con man quick draws still takes himself to seriously doggie daddy and Augie are still too close and snagglepuss is still a stage ham

That one is actually one we had planned for a while. It'll be a bit longer but we're definitely getting that review out.
You fking up names is crazy secret mountain force awesome (which is a slightly cooler name ngl) and Harvey’s brakes?!??! Also jellystone is pretty similar to the looney tunes show particularly with the changing occupations.
Yea sorry bout that. The guy who voices my scripts isn't super into cartoons. So he may read too fast and mispronounce names in the script. And I don't wanna bother them with asking for retakes.
Actually thinking back, I might've misspelled Secret Mountain Fort Awesome. Like you said Force made it sound cooler. Harvey Brakes is on them though lol.
I haven’t watched the show but I’m curious to see how long it’s gonna last especially since the creator of chowder is a part of it
Highly recommend checking it out, it is amazing. But I think season 2 is going to be it's last season. HBO Max has been getting rid of a ton of it's in production shows. And chances are the only reason Jellystone is still coming is due to contractual obligations. As it was initially ordered with 2 seasons in mind. Which is sad, but it's not the first time a network screwed over the creator. Just look at how Harvey Beaks was treated.
