So is royal Enfield Himalayan 450 the first bike in the entire motorcycle fraternity where people are interested in aftermarket crash guard & accessories ???
Even motorcycles like BMW GS 1250 & 1300 have aftermarket accessories but have never heard anything like this.
Please do not support a brand for such defects. Aftermarkets accessories are used almost in all the other motorcycle brands but no other brand had such issues neither they came up with such stupid answers.
Stop being Stupid. Stop Spreading Stupidity.
The content is nothing else but just a greed for seasonal gain in views.

Exactly, why is it one never hears anything about installing aftermarket stuff on BMW GS 1250 or 1300? Everyone is after this company saying they make shitty products and barely sees the bigger picture as to how much engineering and research has gone into making these bikes.
Also, bhai video toh poori dekhle, I have not dissed the aftermarket accessories industry, but merely asked people to buy from reputed companies.
So instead of taking precautions, which I also mentioned in this video, people choose to become keyboard warriors as opposed to making their own CZcams video and post a solution to help the motorcycle fraternity.

Thank you bro so much for the quick reply. I really appreciate your dedication to us as your fans.
Bhai, with no offense to you, I really believe that RE needs to step up their game now.
Using halogen bulbs in the name of heritage and spoke wheels in the name of vintage... ADV bikes are obviously an exception to this, but RE still has a lot to work on. Tell me, which other company sells LED indicators as accessories?
Bikes like the Classic 350 still have spoke wheels even on the top-end variant. I still wonder if anyone would want to carry a 200 kg bike with all that strength if it gets punctured. Why can't RE put alloy wheels on stock bikes as standard?
Also, why can't they fit a slipper clutch on all the bikes? Believe me, it's a pain to use the RE clutch in stop-and-go traffic.
And just a food for thought. Why can't RE include crash guards as a standard feature and add that cost to the bike's ex-showroom price? After all, a person paying almost 3.25 lakhs will not mind paying an extra 10k. RE is going to increase the price of their bikes every quarter, yet no updates or corrections are made to the product at the same pace.
After all you will agree to the point that RE bikes are not cheap by any sense considering it barely has any features or electronics & expecting some sense from RE which other other manufacturers are already doing makes sense.

Hey Sri, I'd like to add 2 points.
    1. You mentioned about aftermarket guards transferring impact directly to the chassis. While this is true, in those 2 cases, there was never a crash. So this point is invalid here right?
    2. The crash guard used in one of the bikes was zana and everybody made videos saying it's mounted to the engine/chassis connecting bolt and it wasn't torqued correctly but zana has officially made a video showing their crash guards never was mounted to that bolt (you can check the video on their official page).
So instead of pointing fingers, I think we should question RE here so that no other owner ends up with broken chassis.

Completely in agreement with you bro here... Rather than defending vague answers from a manufacturer, they should have taken ownership & rectify it.
And as far as Royal Enfield crash guards are concerned, they are not available even after paying almost 10k rupees for it & has a waiting period of almost 2 months
      !!!
Never ever saw a waiting period for accessories !!! And that too on crash guards 😂
RE has Always considered their loyal customers as beta testers.
So bike toote ya bandha... RE ko ghanta fark nahi padta...
And despite all this, they are far too slow to correct their product.

Thank you for commenting. While I didn’t point fingers at zana, I’d like to add that due to launch of new bikes, most aftermarket companies rather compete with others to deliver their products before their competition.
Not saying all after market products are bad, I’m mean look at my interceptor, it is full of custom parts here and there. But sometimes it all comes down to chance.
Now moving forward, One solution for existing owners who have installed aftermarket crash guard is for them to get the crash guards torqued to spec, even though most RE service centre will not have a torque wrench, we must do with what we have. Use thread locker if necessary, and that should be good to go.
Again, I’m not blaming zana, I’m also saying that this will not happen on all RE bikes, it was a matter of chance that these chassis’ broke. We only move forward from here. 🙏🏽

I own 450 but the logic u mentioned is illogical.
    1. Hanle black dint have any sign of 3rd party crash gaurds installed
    2. The kamet white had zana but it was running on highway n the chassis broke.
So if u blame zana it is no way connected to chassis.
In India 95% of the bikes are installed with after market crash gaurds only. But RE came up with lame excuse saying that happened because of aftermarket crash gaurds instead of research on the chassis and solutions for the 450 owners

@@virajvrooms Well, the bike is launched, people have bought it. It would do no one any harm if we just did a few things by ourselves. This only makes us learn more about these machines that we bought 'willingly'. We can all show a bit of ownership here and do what is needed. RE has acknowledged it and is working on it.

Everyone who loves to blame RE, answer these below points
    1. Why do we never see any chassis issues of RE bikes sepcially Himalayan (411 or 450) from western markets? Why is that these issues only happen in india?
    2. Why do indians love to bash this company and not have the same attitude towards other companies? People have made countless videos about the "vibrations" of the new Him 450 but in all honesty its the same or mote refined than the KTM 390 adv but houll not find mamy videos titled ktm 390 adv vibration or refinement issue.
The him 450 has had 2 cases of chassis breakage and people are acting as if every single bike sold has an issue but last year the swingarm of the Triumph 400 broke and harksy any coverage of the same. Why? Why wasnt there a huge youtube or instagram frenzy about a broken swingsrm?
    3. And if you go and read on international forums, youll see people reporting about chassis issues on big adv and other bikes from krm, bmw, triumph etc. Bikes coating lakhs of rupees. So does that mean these companies have no quality control cos issues are found in their top end products?
And if anyone 2ants to reply and bash RE or anyy brand, reply addressing the points I have raised. If not, dont bother. If you just want to bash RE and think that makes hou look cool on the Internet, youre just wasting your time.

    • @SrinivasGanesh
      @SrinivasGanesh  Před měsícem +1

Which is why I pointed out in the video, just 2 incidents after selling ~20,000 motorcycles.
And people loosing their shit thinking that this is going to be in all of their motorcycles. Not even reading about the fact that RE did replace chassis for both motorcycles, under warranty and goodwill. 🤣 And people are saying one of the bike did not have a crash guard installed, how is it that it broke? To that I say, it could be a fluke that the bolts were not torqued correctly in that specific motorcycle. But nope. Let's blame and become keyboard warriors. hahaha
