    Keep Willemse at 12... He's not a fullback, he's not a 10 and he's not some utility players... He's a centre.
    A utility player is Goosen of the Boks need that for their 6/2 split.
    Ruining a young player's development just to suit your tactics is crazy to me

      @Blaque Nguni they sifted him then dropped him for Frans Stein because Blou Bill Victor Mattfield wrongfully victomised him. • @lzb1363
      @lzb1363 Před 2 lety

      @@filthymutt6029 not for most of these local lads. The few Sprinboks here and there yes(Sharks being the exception with 6). But if it's going to be played in it's current format, SA teams will always miss their Bok players end of the year with the start of URC due to RC and the Euro teams will always have theirs as URC was supposed to take a break during the Six Nations. Concessions made this year due to the cancelled tours from Euro teams in Dec due to Covid. But no complaints if that's the case, excellent way to grow SA talent and depth. Might just not be as formidable as they wouldve been to start with.

      I totally agree but for some strange reason World Rugby don’t seem interested in growing the game in Europe. They’d rather continue with a ring fenced 6 nations tournament with no hope of any other nations ever getting into it neither do they want to expand it. ☹️

    • @lzb1363
      @lzb1363 Před 2 lety

    • @winco68
      @winco68 Před 2 lety

      @@lzb1363 Would be nice. The problem with Argentina is their Union it’s still believes in the amateur era and won’t allow the creation of professional club sides or a league within the country. It has an elitist mindset in the way that the 6 Nations is… resistant to change. It took years for them to agree to the formation of the Jaguares that competed in Super Rugby but ultimately only because it was a franchise team. They were a great team that added another dimension to Super Rugby and is sadly no more.
      It also allowed the top Arg players to stay based in the country now all professionals have to ply their trade abroad. What you say could be possible but I think the way forward for Argentina and the Americas is their own club tournament similar to Super Rugby but smaller say 2 teams each from Arg, Uruguay, USA and Canada playing each other twice home/away. Top 4 go through to SF. It would increase interest grow the game and if the investment was right it could go pro and offer an alternative to the current NH/SH spherical split.
