Reviewing the Aeropress Flow Control Filter Cap

I picked up the AeroPress flow control filter cap for Christmas and wanted to give a brief review of it and along with show how I use it.

looks like you need a new seal. How long have you had yours?

I think somewhere around 7-10 years. It’s been doing that off and on for some time but has been a bit more noticeable with the new cap.
Usually getting it wet before plunging helped it get more traction but with the little extra pressure needed with that new cap it might be time to look at replacing it.

I had the same problem, Get a replacement chamber from AeroPress and you will be to go. After 6000 to 7000 cups the chamber will wear out.
Still the best coffee maker on earth.
And if I leave earth I taking at least one Aero Press with me.
