This video shows you how to insert a Nano SIM card into the Apple iPhone 11 or iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 111 Pro Max or iPhone X and can also be replicated on the iPhone 8 or 8 Plus and the iPhone 7 or 7 Plus.

Find your model below to locate the SIM tray. To pop open the SIM tray, insert a paper clip or a SIM-eject tool into the hole beside the tray. Push in, towards the iPhone, but don’t force it. If you're having difficulty ejecting the SIM tray, take your device to your carrier or an Apple Store for help.
After you remove your SIM card from the tray, notice the notch in one corner of the new SIM card. Place the new SIM card into the tray-it will fit only one way, because of the notch. Then insert the tray into the device completely and in the same orientation that you removed it. The tray also fits only one way.
Directions:
1. Take a simple paper clip and make it straight.
2. Use the images below to locate the SIM tray.
3. Insert the pin into the small hole and push it slightly until the tray pops-out
4. Insert or remove the SIM card from the tray. If inserting, make sure the notched corner aligns. The SIM card only fits in one way.
5. Reinsert the SIM tray into the iPhone.

Damn, when you said firmly, you really meant it. I had to push with my whole palm for my iphone 11's sim card tray to pop out, while my iphone 6s plus's sim card tray needed barely any pressure.

1:56 to 2:00 - I had to really, really, really press the tool into the sim card hole to make it pop. I thought the tool was going to break. It finally popped open.

Did anyone else have a hard time ejecting the old sim card & tray? My son has an iPhone 11 and I have a Moto G6 Fast. My card pops right out EASILY, but his just won't open and we stopped trying because we didn't want to damage anything. Any pointers , helpful hints for safely removing sim card and tray?

I tried paper clip in my iphone 11, it wont pop up. In my iphone 6 the paper clip pops the simcard slot instantly. Is this another Apple scammy trick?
Paper clip will work just have to push it harder than the iPhone 6

keep trying with different tools, paperclip/pin/earring,etc. if it's not working then something is broken inside and you will need to fix it by opening it up or take it somewhere they can fix phones
