Such a beautiful rendition of the beautiful Tom Waits song. Noam Pikelny is a wizard with endless surprises on his banjo.
What a voice!
That Aoife O’Donovan gets everywhere. And everywhere is all the better for it.
This deserves to be exactly as perfect as it is.
The melody, the lyrics, the rendition, the players, and the feeling of the whole thing, I love them all
Saw this tour in Cleveland and it was AMAZING!!
One of my favorite Tom Waits songs covered beautifully. Love it!
I love Aoife's expression during the fiddle solo at 3:40. So great!
Fantastic! Great banjoing, singing and fiddlin
Oh so heartbreakingly beautiful. Great banjar playing too; more difficult than it sounds.
If you want Noam playing really difficult, try this, it is unbelievable: czcams.com/video/mlcWyr1T8S0/video.html&ab_channel=NoamPikelny
The singer is Aoife O'Donovan whom I find marvelous in singing songs like this one

Beautiful!
Wow, just gorgeous. Thanks for sharing this.
Oh so beautiful. Amazing. Dig it!!
I love this! And for you guitar players out there who want to play along, Noam Pikelny's version (chords) is available if you google it, and the capo goes on the first fret.
WOW Such a Beautiful Lady and Voice!!!
Awesome.

wow--awesome
Bravo, very nice !!!
Lovely.
Precioso este cover
Fantastic
Never thought I'd hear this song done this way.
But I like it a lot.
Doesn't Noam usually play dobro?
biminitwst Banjo his main instrument. Perhaps on this tune it maybe another instrument. There’s banjo tab for it.
Great job! I just did a broke down version if you care to listen. Loved your vocals
Lovely ... too bad I can’t make out the lyrics.
sorry, I'm not a fan. I find the vocalist's heavy intake of breath too distracting.
No auto tune that's why. Not like some rubbish being played in the pop scene.
I didn't even notice it - I was just listening to the fantastic music
Please post something where you are singing live with a large band on a one-off performance so we can see how just it should be done.
God this would have been so much better if she stopped trying to eat the microphone. *heavy breathing*
